I'd look on eBay for used professionnal hats. I once got lucky and bought a HHX stage pair for £70 I think.

Ditto above, but if you really have to buy something right now, from the choices above, the XS20s are good sounding cymbals. I especially like the hats.

Saluda or ebay (or some other used store). You'll be much happier with your purchase.

I agree with the above posters.
BUT if you must choose between those three, I would go for either the ZHTs or the Alphas.
I have Alphas, and they sound very good for their price. I have been in contact with a few ZHT bits and pieces and they are also good. The ZHT EFX cymbals are interestingly trashier than the A Custom EFX models. I feel that Alpha Hi Hats sound a lot better than ZHT.
But the best idea is to go to a shop and try them all out. Pick what you like best! They are all quality cymbals and aren't going to crack into pieces (easily). It's more so a personal choice thing....
Hope this helped....
THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTIONS AND WHAT HI HATS WOULD BE BEST THAT ARE USED FOR AROUND £80 ANS DOES ANYONE KNOW SHOPS THAT SELL USED CYMBALS OF SNY KIND, I REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR KIND SUGGESTIONS AND HELP

look for a pair of zildjian new beat hi-hats on ebay.
Don't think. Go for the xs20. It's b20 bronze. I was just trying alpha and xs20 crash yesterday an xs20 iz much better. It is best buy option for mid level cymbals.

If you're persistent on one of those three brands .. I'd go with the Alphas. Personally, I think that even PST 5s sound better than the ZHTs and Xs20s (I'm sure SOMEONE will want to berrate me for that, but whatever) and the Alphas are top dog in terms of intermediate cymbals.
Your other options are eBay and haggling with your local music store. I wouldn't go with any specific suggestions from anyone.. just trust your ears. Sure, New Beats and HHX Stage are two good hi-hat models, but they may not be the sound you're looking for. But if you're going to buy on eBay, don't buy unless you can get a sound sample from the seller.

Just done the ZHT vs XS20 thing myself.....came away with the ZHTs.
Only the ride was better (marginally) in the XS20, but the hats and crash were much cleaner in the ZHT Pro set.
Ignore the technical cast vs sheet debate and listen for yourself, that's what I did and am glad i did.The ZHT range are new and are getting excellent feedback.

I have to weigh in behind Kung f00 on this one. I checked out the ZHTs and XS20s and opted for the Paistes. However, my hats are PST 5s. I do have a couple of Alpha crashes though, and I love them. To me the Paistes just sound brighter than the Zildjians or Sabians. So that is definitely personal preference.
The best advice you can get is to listen to all three at a local store and decide which sounds better to you. Maybe even have someone from the store play them while you stand back and listen. Your ears will tell you. They are all excellent cymbals, but you are going to be playing them, so get what sounds good to you.
