help me with this cymbal! please!

Hi I found this cymbal on EBay but from Mexico, and the seller says that it is an Avedis New Beat pair of hats, but he is not sure, he says that he bought it during the 60s.

Do you guys know what is the real series of these hats?
Is $100 a good deal?

I have a real pair of those and would have to hear it to be able to tell. I had, when i first started on drums, a pair of very very terribly shotty hi-hats that looked just like that...

All Zildjians have a stamp . I dont see one on those.

Personally, i would not buy them. Wait for another deal to occur....You can get other good deals on some Avedis hats, but i wouldnt risk buying those.

I tend to disagree. They look like vintage Zildjians, and they could certainly be 60s. $100 for a decent pair of vintage hats is a reasonable price (even if they are 70s, but what if they are 50s?). If you trust the seller, then I think it's worth a shot. Make sure they're in good condition (no cracks, warping, edge dents, etc). Make sure he is a trusted and reputable seller, and make sure he 'backs' his product (warranty? Return policy? something).

P.S. Also have him confirm that it has the 'Zildjian' die-impressed stamp. If it is 60s, there will be no ink left by this time.
