does any one know what practice kit jojo uses in all those vids you see here.. it basically consists of drum practice pads but what type of pedal setup is he using and does anyone know if that setup ( the whole pad/kit thing with the pedal unit) is for sale some where. thanks

okay i did find some but does anyone have any good recomendations? the remo one that is black and red and has coated pads seems appealing except it looks like its made of plastic....

If you are talking about this (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Remo-5Piece-Practice-Pad-Set?sku=442963), then I'd say that it is made out of steel or another alloy. If you look at the closeup, you can see a weld at the base of the stand that holds the bass pad. It's tubular but is should still be strong. And it's not like you are going to gig with it or be considerably rough with it. It's just a practice kit. It should hold up just fine. But you might want to call Remo just to be sure.

i was looking into that one aswell.. does anyon have any first hand experience with any of these examples. i just want as close to accurate kit feel as possible.

how real does it feel compared to a kit? cause i was really interested in the REMO one b/c it seemed like it would have a more realistic feel. obviously its not going to feel exactly like a kit but the closer the better...
