Can't beat it man.
I have three mapex kits and love them all. In fact i just bought the Pro M kit similar to yours except with the 20x22 kick drum. Love it. Mapex just make a quality product that looks and sound great -
Like i said - can't beat it man. Beautiful kit Benson!

spec as follows:-
cybals:
sabian 16" stage crash
---//---- 20" stage ride
---//---- 14" stage hats
zildjian 14" A custom fast crash
heads:
tom1 evans EC2
floor tom evans EC2
snare evans hydraulic coated
i have a couple of LP jam blocks and a couple of cowbells on a home bodged percusion stand. the rest of the hardware is mapex what came with the kit, it is solid stuff!
i couldn't be more satified with the kit, it has fullfilled all my high expectations.
that venue is called certificate 18 and is near the art gallery in the centre of york city.

Cool pic. Looks great, but id like to see a pic of it in normal light, and see the finish better if you know what i mean.

here is a picture in the days time. the only time it really get photographed is at gigs so you will have to ignore the other band member.

the EC2's sound nice, they compliment the warm sounds of the maple shells niceley. although i am not completely confident when it comes to tuning drums so they could probably sound nicer.
thanks for all your + comments. 'tis good to hear.

i built my perscusion stand with only an old snare and cymbal stand and a hammer! i am quite pleased with it, it surves the purpose it is intended for.
