No problem man... I'm just getting into the mode where I hope to expand my cymbal line up a bit. I've only had 2 crashes and a ride for as long as I can remember and I'm ready for some diversity.

Thats my plan, Im just gonna look out for good deals, like that crash, it was brand new, and half price. I really like paiste, though might also have a look at some istanbul, but of the big 3 paiste is my fav.

That's funny. I started with Paiste 502's as well, and the first one I upgraded to was a Signature 18" Fast crash. That 502 ride doesn't sound half-bad, either. Kind of close to a Dry Heavy Ride.
My next step was replacing the 502 hi-hats with some dark crisps.....

The 502's have served well, and will for the time being, the splash is really nice, very splash like in my opinion. ANy comments on anything else????

Haha.. everything else is fine man. Just remember I build my own stuff so all the name brand stuff doesn't really catch my eye much anymore. I can't roll my own cymbals though so that's usually what I comment on! =)

Hey, nice new crash.
It seems that I find some cool Paiste sounds finally...also for Jazz (Bop).
but yeah, that a cool highlight on your kit!!!

Thats a good thing about it its very versatille, as I play Rock, and am really getting into jazz now, so it was the perfect crash!

Cheers, its a shame there aint a way to make your own cymbals that would be cool.

Thanks a lot, the drums are only a starter set, but a good set of heads and they actually sound pretty damn good.

Nice Kit Man!
And on the heads, why not try the Coated Emperors? Isn't that what Bonzo used?

Erm.. I think so, I can never remember. I had an emperor on my stock snare drum, before I replaced it, and to be honest found it a bit heavy, I love bonham, but I want my own sound, though I do take alot from the man.
Anyone knowm what Evan/Aqurians equivalents are better? worse?
