So I'm facing a really difficult dilemma here - I know this guy that has a Zildjian K Constantinople ride for sale. Now I play stuff like hip-hop, blues, funk, progressive rock/metal, pop etc, and I don't really know if I should go for it, seing as I'm not really that much in to jazz. The problem is though, the guy wants 160 bucks for this thing, and that's obviously too good to pass up. What do you guys think?
Im not sure what to say about the constantinople seeing as I don't own one or haven't played one but from what I hear they are geared more for the jazz player.. I just bought myself a pair of 14" Zildjian K Hats and I was worried they wouldn't fit for all genres but I was completely wrong, they seem like they are just the most versatile pair of hats ever, I'm not sure if it will help any but theres not reason why you couldnt 1, pick it up and if you dont like it sell it and make money :P or 2 I'll buy it.(whats the condition?)

Yea really. If you dont like it, you will probably be able to make some money off the cymbal. But dont tell your teacher that.

A 160 bucks for a K Con is a smoking deal. I have a 20" light K Con that I will never part with.

Well, I bought the.. "ride" today.
I'm not really a big Zildjian fan, so naturaly, I don't know much about them. The cymbal had "special selection" stamped on it, but it didn't say "ride" anywhere. I got suspicious and googled it, and it seems this isn't a ride at all - it's one of these: http://www.zildjian.com/en-US/products/productDetail.ad2?catalogID=1017&typeID=0&productID=1375
*EDIT* I'm sorry, this came out totally wrong.

So basically this guy ******* me over.
God, I feel stupid right now.
Ah well, the cymbal wasn't awful sounding, though, so I guess things could be worse.
Nothing wrong with that since many professional players use single symphonic model cymbals as rides or large crashes in this case a med./heavy 20" K Con that should sound very nice as a ride in a pop/rock situation or in other musical applications. If it sounds great that's all that matters and consider yourself very lucky to have recieved such a fine cymbal at a VERY good price since a single cymbal from a pair of those would sell for around $415 bucks or MORE. Sorry you did not get a bad deal IMHO. Just my 2 cents on the matter.

oooo....that is a shame. Sometimes those deals can seem too good to be true...and they are! Anyway, who is this seller? Maybe you can get a refund or if he was on ebay- negative feedback?
