Hey all...

Is there a snare stand that can hold a 16" tom?? Thanks

Yes.

The Pearl low rider has an adjustable basket that can take a 16 incher.

They are pricey though....

Im sure Ive seen a Sonor Stand that can hold up to a 20 inch drum, which may be overkill....

Is it shallow or floor tom depth? They make a cool suspension setup for a 16" tom...

That MAY work.. if not go to drum foundry.. click on suspension mounts.. look for the floor tom sizes.

thanks but no...that's an iso mount so it would sit just like a regular floor tom. I'm looking at putting a 14x16 on a snare stand!

That's why I asked about how deep it was... if it was a deeper tom that would make a nice stable alternative. I think Gibraltar makes an adjustable one as well but they're pretty pricey. Check the selection at westcoastdrums.com in the hardware listing.

I know...but....I want to bring it UP,...and angle it over the 14 tom used as a floor tom. look at this pic ...........that might help...but reverse the 14 and the 16 in this picture..........

I can't imagine that would be too stable. Why don't you get a RIMS or Pearl Optimount and mount that on the floor tom so you can put it on a stand and get it up?
