Strawberry Wine is a country song by Deana Carter and I just love it and I am a R/B funk drummer:

I love this song and it is very hard to play because I have so little experience with 3/4. I have become obsessed with the tune and even I know all the words due to extreme replay. This is a great example of ¾.
Does anyone have any examples of rudiments to work on for ¾?

Thanks. Mine as well. As a kid I found the drumming every bit as inspirational as Cannonball's great introduction.

I've never had to play Skating in Central Park- never even heard that one. Moon River I've had to play way too much. In addition to the other good suggestions, you could try Emily, Bluesette, Charade, Valse Hot, or Very Early.

Ah, Bluesette, used to play that as part of a little jazz trio in the mid-60s. Piano player called himself Norman A. Norman and has been playing with a group called Big Daddy for about 40 years.
Great song to play except, well, at this point in my life I have no patience for brushes.
