ok so i got this off my new drum teacher on thursday and he has had it for 2 months
but i used my old snare and cymbals for it but im getting some sabian xs20 cymbals soon and hopefully a new snare aswell
and i also got a new bass pedal today as my old one was pretty crap

nice kit, Sonor is a good way to go. I would look at something better than the XS20's though for cymbals- it will be worth it to save up the extra dollars to get a much nicer sound.

wow that flat one looks like the ultimate cocktail. does it actually sound like anything?

I tried a set of those Arbiters in the store a while back-they actually don't sound half bad...just don't have as much projection as traditional drums, but I think they'd be perfect for reharsal and/or small venues.
I wouldn't mind a set for myself, but cost prohibitive. ( I think they wanted $450 for the basic 5 pc kit) maybe one day....

wow! I can't imagine getting a good sound out of the flat bass drum(or any of the flat drums)...What kind of sonor is that?

It actually sounds pretty good. My dad use a set of flats for gig's and he only needs one mic to capture the hole set.. Of course, it will never sound like a real kit though.b
