I've been cruising the fourms here for awhile. I thought I would finally put some pics up of my DW's. I just got the edge snare yesterday.

Satin Oil Specialty, tobacco burst. I also have a yamaha 3.5x14 piccolo snare.

Nice finish, but I would bring those toms down almost level with the ride and flatten those babies out.

Yea they seem a little steep to me.
Anyway...
AWESOME!!! love the satin finish but those darn DW lugs hide it a little too much : (

The drums itself looks great but the hardware one it looks like some kind of plastic.

I like the satin hardware.

Be careful if you bring those toms down and level them out... dont let 'em get too flat or you'll get trashed for wanting to be like Travis Barker.

WELCOME from another newbie to the forum! Awesome looking kit. Interesting to see where your toms are mounted. I'm an old fart and so used to having the toms stuck on top of the bass drum that, with my own new kit, I'm having a teeny bit of difficulty getting used to the tom-holder and the angle of the toms compared to the "old days".

Be nice to hear how you get on.

Cheers
Chris

Beautiful kit all in all ........ I like that you went w/ satin specialty for a change....however...I just cant' stand that hardware ...it looks "painted" to me. Personal opinion only ........bottom line....SWEET! :)

Tom angles look like an experiment resembling Pearts setup.... =)

Vey nice kit. I especially like the edge snare. You might want to invest in a single tom holder to make your setup a little more comfortable (or not).
I also have a DW kit with similar sizes. Check out the link:

Welcome on board!
Your kit is really beautiful, and I know that DW makes great kits and that they sound amazing if tuned right.

Congrats man.

Beautiful kit, and the finish is awesome! I hope someday to own a set of DW's-one of the best products out there, IMO...
