This might sound a little ridiculous, but does anyone here have any drum transcriptions from "Inner Mounting Flame"?

I could do with some notated versions of all the M.O. drumming madness but Im not sure there are any...

If you do happen to have some, could you post them please?

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you Saif, but can't say i've ever seen full M.O transcriptions. I think if i did the sheer amount of ink would scare me away. You've obviously got some time on your hands :)

Yeah, the sheer amount of notes in some places combined with the angular time changes would be a headwreck for a printer, let alone a transcriber!

I actually need some for my university dissertation. I dont need entire sections of drum notation, just some of examples of Cobham's approach and style.

So snippets would do, just a few bars here and there.

Change anything?? anyone??

Ok, how about some time signatures then? I know there are some people with a serious grasp on the mental time signatures used by the M.O., could anyone list the name of the track and the time signature (or multiple time signatures) alongside them? Only for anything Billy Cobham has played on.

Would be a massive help if anyone could, thank you for your time.

Vital Transformation is in 9/8 in fact I have the intro lick somewhere because it appeared on a Modern Drummer and when I went to berklee durin summer a teacher gave me a copy of it, if I find it I will scan it for you

try the book Billy Cobham By Design there is a lot of his stuff in there.
