I dont think I've ever showed you this one before, had it for almost a year now, and recently got rid of all my Paiste Signatures for these Meinl's, I can tell you I dont regret a bit.

Nice! I love the Byzance line...what are the specs? Is that a Dark Ride?
Also, what music styles do you like to play mainly?

Beautiful.

Thanks guys! Yeah the byzances are lovely. I'll get the jazz crash, but won't have money for a while...
I was always into metal, and I love to play that, but I've been open for all styles, and now I'm focusing mainly on jazz.

Specs:
Premier Artist birch in Rosewood laquer: 22x18", 10x08", 14x11" and 14x5,5". Powerstroke 3 on the kick, coated Ambassadors on the toms and black dot C.S on the snare.
Meinl Byzance: 14" medium hats (regular), 10" splash (brilliant), 18" medium thin crash (brilliant) and a 21" dark ride.
Tama Iron Cobra powerglide double-pedal and chain drive hh stand.

That is a lovely kit. I love the overall look, the cymbals really compliment the rosewood lacquer.

Gorgeous. The Byzance line is one of the best 'machined' lines of cymbals I've ever heard.

Thanks again! I know I havent been very active lately, hang a bit on PDF, but now I'm tired of all the crap over there, so I'm back. :p

The Byzance line is not "machined", they are hand hammered in Turkey. And they are simply great. I'm would'nt say that they are "better" than Paiste Sigs, cause when you come to a certain price range no one is better, but Meinl hit the professional sound at the same costs as Sabian XS20 etc, atleast here they do. And I do prefer their sound over the sigs I had.

I'll try to get them miced up and do some shedding when I have time. :)
