wow. yesterday i walked into my drum lesson and it was sitting on the side, calling to me to buy it. i went to the store today, and got it just in the nick of time. 2nd hand, but good condition. heres the best part...

1250 dollars!

thats australian dollars by the way. i am pretty stoked. here are some pics...i've been playing around with the sounds etc, trying to figure it out because it doesnt come with a manual. so if anyone could give some help on some of the features and whatever, that'd be great. ill also try and figure out a way of putting my ride, hats and crash in with it...hopefully it'll fit.

I would go to the Roland web site and see if they have a downloadable PDF users manual and just bookmark it for handy reference.

Billy Hyde Drumcraft are selling the td-10 half price for $6497...I know mines older but in Australia it has to be worth more than in the US.

U'd just play around with the sounds, those kits have so many kits up and down are the only two buttons I would need but go ahead and check for a maual it would be useful.

... and that's only £514! Scary.

50 kits all up. You can change any pad to any sound on any of the 50 kits. A lot of sounds, but a lot of the sounds suck. I've got a 'main kit' that i've preset. works well for me, and ive just got into recording stuff on there. a manual would be very helpful, guess ill have to keep looking around.

Second hand is the way to go for a kid who works at maccas (and i still owe my mum 500 bucks), even if it is a few years old. Thanks for the replies, and Big Philly, I actually looked at your avatar and realised that its actually a horse, not just random flame. It's pretty cool.

I agree her in britain we get ripped of on a 17.5% tax, and the fact its all imported from USA, etc. Anything made her is custom.
