Hey everyone,
Was wondering if you could help me out, this guy on myspace is offering to sell me a Zildjian Titanium Ride cymbal for about US$100. Is it worth it? Can anyone who has the cymbal tell me if its good? Im at a beginner/intermediate level
thanks

Save your money mate. Keep the 100 and keep saving a little more for a brillaint 2nd hand pro cymbal. Look around the net and ebay trrust me your better off going without a new ride a little longer for something great

Most certainly a no-go on that ride mate.

That's just a painted ZXT. It's no good. I'll keep on pitching, look at Dream if you must havea brand new ride. They are really jazzy but can take hard hitting without complaint. Check em out. Regardless of what you do, do NOT buy that Titanium.

No!!! Run away from any cymbals coated in titanium!
I had a ZXTi pack a few years ago when they first came out (and I was naive about drum products) and I realise now that they are horrible beyond belief. I still haven't sold mine. Back to eBay...

i had that ride and it sucks, i will never buy a ride without testing ever again. The whole titanium zildjian thing is not good. Get a second hand ebay ride instead and get something not entry level for a little bit more.

I got the ZXT titanium set when i was younger. I regret it so much, but I have been able to sell mine on ebay and didn't really lose that much money. I think basically £50 for the ride isn't amazingly bad, but what you could get for a bit more makes it such a poor deal that you shouldn't go for it.

Save your money and get something better for that price used. People like myself sell top end used models for close to that. I sold my HHX Groove Ride for $120. You could do alot better.
