Mhhh, delicious kit. And yeah, what a nice location!
I like it, can you maybe give us the cymbal specs? =)

Just see that you use a Paiste Ride...

Yeah, doing a couple of gigs with a country artist here and there. He's starting to play on the road a little more, so I'll be logging the miles here shortly. It's nothing sustained though, so I'll be home with the family alot. Thanks for asking.

Mmm, the kit and the location compliment eachother very well... did you get really lucky and have the sunset just behind the kit? That would have looked beautiful with the finish. And nice Paiste ride, wanting one!

I'm from the Altoona area. I do all my drum shopping at Dales in your area. Reggie and the gang take good care of me. Thanks for the compiments!

That's my look of disdain for guys who tell me not to look to excited...:o)

Actually, the water behind me is on the Eastern shore, so I was looking at a gorgeous sunset. Thanks for the compliment on the ride. It's sweet, nice definition and bell with little wash.

Hi Clint,

Nice drums, look like Dave Weckl's finish. I used my new 10" tom for the first time last Saturday night. I'm using the Remo coated Ambassadors on top and I was very pleased. These heads I almost forgot about, used years ago when we did not have the head selection that we have these day's. Very nice feel and the projection was great, little more over tones than the Evans EC2 heads but I need the projection. I did use the tunings you recomended C on the 10" and 16 and F# on the 13" (as close as my ears would get me)

I also like the location of your toms, I to like the ride cymbal in that location, my issue now is trying to make it work with my Gibraltar rack. Does the 10" tom being in that location get in the way of your hi-hat stand?

Your Paiste ride, what series are you playing? I currently am using a 20" Paiste Signiture dry ride but because my sister is a Zildijian employee she made me an offer I couldn't refuse so I have been switching over. I am using the Z Custom series 20" medium ride, 18" K custom crash and n K custom 16" fast crash. I still use my Paiste 17" 602 formula that I have had for years and I love it. Don't know why Paiste stopped this series?

Soon I will forward a picture of me and my kit to you,. of course I spent to much time at the buffet tables at my gigs over the years so I will need to use a wide angle lens.

Take care,

Pete

Hmm - Looks like your set up outside of the convention center/hotel. I actually live about a mile from Historical River Street (Which you can see in the background). When was your gig?

Beautiful drums too by the way!

Classic kit. Honey amber/clear maple...sweet. And I like the layout. No toms on the kick. Perfect 2 up, 1 down for my tastes. Good luck with your tour.
