Good stuff!

Never been in a studio that professional looking. I can imagine it was a blast. Got any sound samples from the session?

Didn't pay a penny!!...It was a session so they paid me. It was a great studio, one of the best i've played in.

Soon as i get the tracks i'll post them. It was a session for a band i don't normally play with. I'd like to hear them myself but last time i checked they hadn't been mixed properly yet. I'll keep you posted!

what kind of music is it?

It's acoustic jazz funk. Two acoustic guitars, a bass and drums were recorded. There is still a sax and a violin to go down and then it needs mixing!!.....

you'll know when i know.

Hows the heavy ride, 21" as well? I'v been looking through different k/k custom rides, not sure yet.

The 21" heavy is great......It's works for all genres. I've used it for jazz records and rock stuff and it sounds awesome for both. What K Customs have you been looking at? I played a friends 20" K custom ride for a gig a few weeks ago and loved it!!

Very nice kit, I like the setup. I'm an A/K Custom man myself. I debated a K heavy ride as well but ended up getting a K Custom Dry 20" ride....I haven't found anything that I like better yet!

nice kit, looks pretty comfortable. about the K ride though, I didn't know they made a 21" version of it. Must be older model, i guess.
