Always on the look out for single or multiple Yamaha Oak Custom drums in Red Oak.

At the moment, I'd like a 20X17 BD and a 16x16 FT.

They've discontinued the colour, and I'm still trying to build the right collection to satisfy all my needs. Used or new. Prefer UK or EU, but would consider footing the shipping from NA.

PM me if you can help out.

Hi all --

I'm selling a brand new 20" Sabian HHX Evolution ride. This came as part of a Sabian cymbal pack I purchased. I'm looking for a lighter, washier sounding ride as my main ride, so I'm selling this one straight out of the box. I did tap it a few times with a stick, just to make sure I didn't want to keep it, but it otherwise has not been played, and I even handled it with gloves while testing. I have it listed on eBay for an opening bid of $225, which is what I see these selling for as used floor model/store display/demos. The usual asking price for a new one is $350.

Here's the link -- please check it out:
I've got a couple more bits that I havent had time to take pictures of, including a set of Skytec drum mics, Mic stands and XLR leads, a Z custom splash thats barely been used and a Pearl DR80 rack with clamps and cymbal arms that i'll be posting up here in a few days. Please feel free to message me about these or any of the above bits, if they dont go to a good home here they will only end up on Fleabay.

I have a 414 and a 421 (NOT the Mark II) mics...Both are the older and some say more desirable models of each. Never gigged...A couple of very minor cosmetic imperfections, but a solid 9.5 of 10 in appearance and sound great! I have pics and soundfiles of drums and cymbals of each..I also have some other high end studio gear...Lexicon, Eventide, Mackie, Sony DAT, that I also need to sell as well...Realistic offers only please..Serious health issues are forcing me to sell everything I own, and this is just the begining. Thanks!

Just checking of someone would be interested

Hey there,
Selling my Mapex Saturn shellpack as stated above is a 6 piece (studioease configuration)
Professional kit from a company that is coming strong in the market, and specially known for their mid range kits (Meridians) and specially this professional line (Saturn)
Excellent kit for venues and studio work, wide tuning range due to the thin shells.

4 plys of Maple + 2 interior plys of Walnut (give it that dark and deep sound)
22x18
10x8
12x9
14x14
16x16
Snare: 14x7 (never used brand new in box)

Sienna Burst finish, drums are not even 1 yr old.
Only used in house smoking free environment, always kept in SKB cases. So they look and feel new, original heads on all shells Clear Remo emperors over ambassadors, heads have seen little to no worn, it comes w mounting hardware (might include the extra 4 lugs to get u the virgin Bass drum look)
Extra info on this kit visit http://usa.mapexdrums.com/drums/saturn/index.asp

Just to add there is normal rough area on the underside of the bass drum hoop where the Pedal clamps to the drum which is normal.
Im not going to post the MSRP because is just silly, if you check online these kits usually sell on the market from $2200 to $2500 new on this configuration
Im asking $1800 and be willing to hear some offers
So you are saving a good hundred dollars on this.

Okay so after dishing out nearly $6,000 into this kit, I'm deciding to sell it... The last 2 metal bands I got into left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't see touring soon on any near horizon. I'm working on building a 4 piece kit so this has to go to make room; so I'm selling (SACRIFICING) for less then half of what I put into it!

I have a lot of time and money invested into this, not that it's anything 'super custom' but it's definitley unique for what it is and I kept it super clean.

Here is all the spec's of the kit as well as tons of pictures:

Spec's:
.PDP Platinum Series 8-Ply Maple Shells.
.20x16" Bass Drums.
.10x8" & 12x9" Rack Toms.
.14x12" & 16x14" Floor Toms.
.13x4" Snare.

Hardware:
.Custom Trick Throwoff DW/PDP Snare Conversion.
.S-Hoops On All Toms & Snare both batter & resonant. (Give an amazing tone, cost me $200 only a couple months ago & are super heavy duty and look bad ass).
.DW 1/2" Tom Bracket's on rack toms. (I'm including the stock PDP one's as well, I changed them to the DW one's so they'd retrofit on the DW tom stand, no drilling or whatnot was needed, was a perfect swap!)
.Puresounds 20strand 'Twisted' Snare Wires.

Heads:
.Evan's EC2 Batter on all toms.
.Evan's EC Resonant on all toms.
.Evan's Genera HD Dry on snare batter.
.Evan's Hazy 300 on snare resonant.
.Evan's EMAD2 on bass drums batter.

Cases:
.2 Custom Calzone ATA Road/Flight cases in 3/8" wood.
.1 hold's my 2 bass drums and has a slot for extra head's.
.1 hold's my 4 toms, snare, pedals, and all my hardware.

I'm including all the original drum heads batter & resonant (besides snare batter as that was broke), as well as all the original drum hoops both batter & resonant. I'm including the original PDP tom brackets as well as the original PDP snare throwoff.

I sold all the multi stands & Trick pedals, and I'm keeping the snare stand & hi-hat stand for the 4 piece I'm going to be getting.

The kit is in PERFECT condition with not a scratch to be found, sounds amazing, looks amazing. Is fully tour ready to go as the cases were built FOR THIS KIT! The heads are in almost new condition with very minimal use on them, besides the snare. Cases look brand new and were only acutally used for 6 local shows. I've only played a total of a dozen shows with this kit, otherwise it's been in my climate controlled studio at home.

For EVERYTHING, I'm looking for $2,950 It's perfect for anyone wanting a monster kit but not knowing what to kit or which heads to match or waiting 3+ months for Calzone to build you cases.

I'll consider trades as well. I'm really looking for an extremely nice 4 piece. I don't need cymbals, hardware, or cases. Preferably a high end DW.

You can call me ANY TIME day or night at 518-378-3377 or email me at adamcooney@verizon.net or just PM me on the forum. I've got 100% eBay feedback (user name: adam_cooney). Many people can give you positive experiences with me. I'll ship to anywhere, hell I'll ship overseas, but you gotta pay the shipping of these bad boys, cases and all. Shipping will be done through Conway Freight from my local terminal to a business address or to your local terminal. Should only cost $200-400 depending on the area you're in, maybe more maybe less, but it's going to be the exact price that I get quoted for you will have to pay.

I'll accept Paypal, postal money orders, certified bank checks, or cash. Local pickup is always welcome.

Here are the pictures!!!

I'm selling a 20" Sabian AA Metal-X ride (brilliant finish, unlathed bell, etc.). I'm asking $200 OBO. Ill also do a trade; nothing im actively seeking but im up for any offer. *
I bought it brand new a few weeks ago and I like it well enough, but I've since bought a 17" K Custom Hybrid crash and the ride is in stark juxtoposition (not in a good way) with the rest of my setup: it's just too loud! It's in great condition (minus a bit of sticking). I'll gladly clean it up with some Zim's if you want. I'll send pictures and/or sound files if you want. *
Best way to contact me if interested is email: taylor.growden@gmail.com. Buyer pays shipping.*

I'm selling my DW Collectors drum kit. The color is a dark red satin. It was made in the USA and in 2002. Overall good shape, some scuffs and dings here and there, nothing major that any other used kit wouldn't have. The 14" tom doesn't have the wing for the clamp to tighten it down so you have to use some kind of grips or it can be replaced like anything else. Also included is a gibralter rack system, a Yamaha Anton Fig custom snare, and a complete line of zildjian cymbals. Here is the sizes of the drums and cymbals:

* DW Kick Drum 18x22
* Yamaha Anton Fig Custom Snare 5x14
* DW Tom 8x10
* DW Tom 10x12
* DW Tom 12x14
* DW Tom 13x16
* 14" A New Beat Hi Hats
* 12" A Custom Splash
* 14" A Custom Crash
* 16" K Custom Dark Crash
* 16" A Custom Fast Crash
* 17" A Custom Projection Crash
* Pasite 20" Signature Ride
* Gibraltar Rack and all Rack Hardware
* 2 Heavy Duty Stands

I also have a Zildjian 13" A custom Hi Hat set if you don't want the A New Beat hats. The double bass pedal, hi hat stand, and snare stand are not included. I'm in Connecticut and would prefer to sell locally. Looking to get $3000 for the set up. Here is a link to some pics below:

I lost my job last month and things are very tight for my family. I need to make sacrifices until I can get a new job and my only real possession of value is my Mapex Drum Set. I paid well over $4000 for everything - Asking $3000 so Christmas won't be a complete bust.

It is a Saturn Series, 6-pc. in Mango Burst. It includes the following drums:
22x18 (Bass Drum)
10x8 (Tom Tom)
12x9 (Tom Tom)

Wanted - vintage Ludwig Speed King footboard. I got a vintage mid 60's Speed King with a second 'main part' for lack of better words. I took three days restoring them, but I need a second footboard to complete the 'spare main part' to give to a friend as a present. Willing to pay $20-ish with shipping. It needs to be a vintage one or it will look bad and may not fit. PM me if you have one. Thanks!

Sabian 16" AAX studio crash. It's in really good condition, i've only had it since around march. $170 or best offer.
The only reason I'm selling it is because it's kind of bright and i just don't think it's the cymbal sound i need for my style of playing.

More vintage Ludwigs:

This time, a 3 piece shell pack from the 1980s! Six ply, Maple/Poplar in black cortex. This is definitely a project kit which features 22, 13, 16 sizes with the modular tom holder and the 1/2" disappearing bass drum spurs. All of the drums have most everything except that they all are missing the resonant side hoops and tension rods.

21" Zildjian A Armand Ride

Looking for the above, in as good condition as possible, but will of course accept examples with minor cosmetic blemishes, but no cracks please.

Would also be interested in a Black Panther Thick Maple Snare

Looking for a 4 piece (toms only, I don't need a snare); 1 up, 2 down setup. It's for my birthday on the 18th of February. Preferably a Mapex Pro M with 24' kick. If not then I'm up for offers on drums with Maple shells and sizes as listed:(diameter x depth)

24x18 or 24x20
13x9 or a 13 with a similar depth.
16x16

I'm looking for a reasonable price on a set for a drummer who is just getting serious into gigging.
Preciate it and PM with your offers.

EDIT: If you have any drums that would match well too maple such as the warm tone then PM me and we'll discuss it. I don't want any bright wood such as birch.

More gear on Ebay, top picks of the litter are the 1977 22" Paiste 2002 Ride cymbal (beautiful), the PDP 6x10" snare and the DW 7000 series double pedal!

Ludwig Hercules Snar drum stand - really good shape tubes have no friction and it is all there!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095376783&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Mint Tama Stagemaster snare stand
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095379164&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Pearl single BD pedalgreat shape and excellent for the budget-minded!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095371510&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
DW 4000 series throne - this one, someone tore up so it is up for parts/repair
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095380335&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Ludwig Stand cymbal by Paiste - looks to be in bad shape but actualy sounds really good and would make a great jazz ride!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095370002&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Vintage Ludwig Speed King - just needs a cleaning and a couple of parts
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095373010&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
DW 7000 double bass drum pedals - a very good buy
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095374831&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Zildjian AMIR crash cymbal - these were made in the 1980s and then Zildjian discontinues them. They were rumored to be excellent cymbals in the studio.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095367446&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
1980s Ludwig BLue and Olive shell pack - 22, 13, & 16. Decent drums and the 13" is the worst of the bunch. These are from the short era where Ludwig was transitioning from the Hercules hardware to the Modular era as noted by the Pearl/Rogers influenced tom holder which is included.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400094980821&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

If I were tempted to keep one item out of the bunch it would be oe of these two:

1977 Paiste 2002 series 22" Ride cymbal - I think this one is a heavy ride and it sounds fantastic! It clean up really well except for the area where the black logos were showing. I didn't dare clean the logos off!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095363041&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

This snare drum is just about as close as you can get to being out of the box. The only non-mint part is the Remo Emperor batter head!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095365755&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

As most of you already know, if there are defects, I always let you know before you buy!

The stamp on the BOTTOM hat appears "thinner" than that of the TOP hat, but I don't know if that is wear over time or just that way, hence ?60's vs. ?70's or mixed. If I had to guess, I would say 70's because of the Zildjian "HOLLOW LOGO"
Either way, a valuable wonderful set of hats with a darker crisp sound.

PRICE: $220 shipped to USA.
Reasonable offers will be entertained.

I have bought and sold on EBAY and VDRUMS.COM with 100% Positive feedback and reputation (user: KENGOLFNUT for both sites). Paypal is the easiest my efficient form of payment.
Thanks,
KENGOLFNUT

I have for sale an early to mid 90's era 16" A Thin crash.

Being this age, it has one or two marks but is in generally great condition and sounds amazing, opens up with the merest tap of a stick. Even a finger is enough to get a lovely rich roar out of it.

The only thing i should mention, is i found out yesterday, the tiniest tiniest little nick in the edge of the cymbal. Maybe 1-2mm worth of crack. Its so tiny i hadnt even seen it. However this has no effect on the sound whatsoever, and youd have to really be looking to see it.

I suspect it will present no issue to the cymbals performance whatsoever. However im going to be reasonable with my pricing because of this.

Perfect examples go for between £90-110 in the UK.. so im offering this one up for £75 inclusive of postage and packing to UK mainland.

Hi--I've got a very, very early 24" Agop Signature ride, serial 24 00 12, at 2842 g. Drilled for 2 rivets. Excellent condition--no key, smooth edge, no cracks etc. Super trashy crash, very good stick separation, awesome ride--all the trademark characteristics, a super specimen--and pretty much a collector's item for the Agop enthusiast. I just want the right vintage A sound with my Gretsch kit.

I've got photos I can email on request but no sound file at the moment.

I'm looking to trade for like-valued 22"/24" hollow block or trans stamp ride.

Email me @ wordscots@yahoo.com if interested with details.

I recently bought a Zildjian A Custom 18" Crash on the internet but it sounds exactly the same as one of my other Zildjian's with no contrast at all. I should of just sent it straight back and exchanged it but for some stupid reason didn't until it was too late.
Literally the cymbal has been tested and nothing else and is as new, either looking for a sensible offer or would consider swapping / part exchange against something that contrasts with the cymbals I have, would be interested in a 16" AAX Stage Crash, or
16" Zildjian K Hybrid.
I'm based near Chichester in Sussex although I'm happy to post anywhere in the UK, buzz me a PM if there's any interest.

Hey everyone. I had bought some Zildjian ZBT cymbals (one ZXT) last summer, and never used them. With how things turned out...I'm never going to have to either.

They are in perfect condition since they have not been used. I put them on ebay for about $30 cheaper than guitar center's website is selling them for.

Feel free to bid if any of you are interested. If you don't have an ebay account, let me know and if the one(s) you want don't sell I'll message you.
All items are located in eastern Pennsylvania and will be shipped within 3-5 days.

More vintage drums for sale:

A very nice, almost pristine...well, okay, a pristine red sparkle Vintage Ludwig Pioneer snare drum in the size 5x14", made anywhere from July 6 1965 to October 1965 - Keystone badge, of course!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400098111442&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

There is no reserve on this drum so the highest bid takes it and it is excellent!

A fairly good vintage Ludwig black Vistalite, blue and olive badge shell pack in the sizes of 13, 14, 16 and 24" (yes, a 24" Kick drum!). The Kick drum shell has a crack which has been repaired. This is probably the remnants of a ProBeat outfit (Ludwig's marketing term in the 1970s). This is a great player kit and is definitely not pristine!

There is an extremely low reserve on this shell pack (actually ridiculously low is more like it) after the reserve is met, highest bidder takes it.

Mike's Mad Mondays marches on!

Try saying that five times really fast.....or don't; people may look at you strange!
Here are this week's deals!

Vintage cymbal week:

20" Ping Ride - this one is a great cymbal and was checked against a new Ping Ride.....this is the one you should buy. The hollow logo is still faintly visible.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437128925&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

This Crash cymbal is unbelievably thin - probably the best cymbal I have listed this week!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437134844&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

This Crash cymbal is unbelievably destroyed - defintely the worst cymbal I have listed this week! But you may have use for it!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437135881&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

This bottom Hi Hat Cymbal has the Strike from the sixties and is in good to great shape!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400099478129&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

This is a 1970s bottom Hi Hat bottom cymbal which was paired up with the one from the sixties......they didn't sound all that great together.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437139291&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Stands - I have bunch this time, just for your perusing and purchasing!

While this isn't a DW double boom stand, it comes at a good enough price to have in your trap case and remove the weight of two complete stands!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437169827&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Here we have an almost mint Yamaha Snare stand which is heavy duty enough but yet lightweight:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400099488491&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Another Vintage Ludwig Hercules snare stand - heavy duty w/ tubular legs make for less weight in the trap case!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437148657&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

An honest to God North Hi Hat stand! Better than the drums!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437152272&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

If you don't have to have a DW boom stand, these are great stands - two booms and one straight!

Pedals:

Two vintage Pearl single bass drum pedals and they are all there; no missing parts:

Beaters (just for your wife!)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170437557991&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Drums - some real finds!

This is a Vintage Slingerland Radio King snare that someone didn't replace the factory parts on. It is reoprtedly made of Ash or Pecan. It is extremely light for a snare drum!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400099480344&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Who didn't ever want a set of Roto Toms? My high school band director, that's who! But I liked them and apparently so did many other drummers. These are in fair condition and all of the parts are there; they just need a good cleaning!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400099567561&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

This is a good drum and a real steal if you need one:

I'm selling this 1920-30 Ludwig COB snare 4X14, 8 lugs, two part (top and bottom) welded in the middle, brass shell & hoops.

Issue #1. 2 extra holes were drilled to take a damper, just below the OG vent hole.
issue #2. 1 of the rim clips is noot OG
You can see these issues in the pictures

Not sure if all the tension rods are OG.
The lugs show a bit of ware on the chrome.

It's loud and sensitive and in really good shape... and I'm only selling it to pay for my other vices, since I'm not really using it.

I live just outside of Montreal Quebec, H9s 2s8. ...maybe you know someone in the area that can help w/ the transaction.

Hi everyone, I'm selling some like-new Pearl hardware including a Roadster D-2000 throne and P-2000C single bass drum pedal in Brisbane that I'm not finding comfortable to use myself and would like to pass them on for a good price before its too late.

Just a shout out if anyone in and around Brisbane is looking for some cheaper prices on some quality gear. Both like-new condition.

Pearl Roadster P-2000C Drum Pedal
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160400054834

Just an update. The throne has been sold, however in light of recent reduction in RRP of the pedal, and a need to get rid of it (I'm broke!), I've dropped the price to $175 Buy It Now.

Not exactly sure how many people are in Brisbane/QLD on this forum, but I can pack & send it.

Anyone interested can drop me a line via eBay.

Hi all!

A non-drummer friend of mine is looking for a used drum set for his home studio in NJ. He's looking for something entry to mid-level but not poor quality (i.e. no First Act, Peavey, or CB type kits). Preferably something along the lines of Pearl Export, Tama Rockstar, etc. He'd like a pretty much complete set with hardware and cymbals (hats, ride, crash). Lower line Zildjians, Sabians, and the such are fine. Here's the trick... he only has $500 (max) to spend. Shipping is therefore not an option. Again, third or fourth hand is fine, as long as the basics are there and it's in relatively good shape. If someone in the NJ, eastern PA, or NY areas has something that fits the bill please send me a PM.

Thanks!

After delaying letting this kit go for nearly a year I have to finally letting my dear hip gig go. I have a $1,500 transmission repair I have to do or else I have no car....anyway the kit comes with 10x6, 12x5(snare),13x7 (floor) and 16(diameter)x20(depth) and the whole family of hardwares you need to start playing.

This is the original hip gig not the cheaper Manu Katche ones...this kit is small but " daaamn" it sounds huge...the kick sounds more like an 18 or even a 20 when properly tuned and with the right head combination.....the 10 and 13 toms as a good amount of sustain...nothing about this kit that says "tiny sound" a really impressive kit.

The best of all you only need three things when going to a gig with this kit....the throne (contains all hardwares), the drums (all inside the kick drum) and your cymbal bag.....hahaha....try to race your guitar player....he'll get a kick out of it. Takes me only 10-15 minutes to set up and tear down ones you put everything into memory lock...and one single trip from and to my car (a civic sedan) and could fit other 4 medium built guys/gals...haha how cool is that.

$1100 shipped....anyone? in case you are curious the drums sells new for $2,500.....you can also email (zidjan@hotmail.com) or text me 503-810-8843.

Before I list on Ebay....

Is anyone here interested in one of these fine cymbals I have up for sale starting tomorrow...

1996-1998 (will provide serials) Zildjian Z-Custom 17, 18, 19" medium crash's (gently used, no cracks, no keyholing, etc etc etc). Pics coming soon, need to go take them! I bought these new back in the 90's and dont play the loud heavy stuff anymore. These are loud cymbals, which are also musical. All logos intact, with the "vintage" big Z. Just sold the 20" ride on Ebay today, might as well unload these too.

Prices:

My name is Susan and have a collection drums, most of them of vintage drums, left to me by my late husband who was a drummer ... a collector ... and a lover of "all things drums". The details of this collection passed on with the drummer. I am trying to learn as much as I can.

If there is anyone out there willing to offer their opinion of what the values may be I would very much appreciate knowing what that opinion is.

There are 2 snares associated with the 1948-52 WFL set ... either or both snares can go with this set, please note that I have found and included era specific hardware for this set including rack tom mount, snare stand, high hat stand with WFL pedal, WFL kick pedal and kick muffler

4 piece WFL set with 5x14 snare

1-6x14 WFL snare

I am not familiar with forums ... please be patient.
Thank you

Check eBay. There's a "similar" kit selling for $1850. At least that's the asking price. Of course, will it sell for that? Times are tough, and a lot of people are selling kits for "top dollar", and a lot of buyers don't have "top dollar" to spend. So you see a lot of the same kits being "re-listed" over and over.Kits that are selling seem to be in the $1K range.

Thanks!

Check your PM. Thanks.

There are only a few guys here on this site that know vintage drums. You might get a few differing answers, depending on our geographic/economic locations. You should post this over at VintageDrumForum.com also...you will probably get some more answers over there.

As for my take on it, it looks very nice. "It's only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it." If I were in the market for a kit like that one, I would probably be willing to pay around $1000 for everything. It may be "worth" $1800 or so according to some book or website or collector, but the market is down right now, and its fair market value is probably closer to the $1200 mark.

Like I said before, that's a nice kit!

Gibraltar Drum Rack for sale - 3 sides (2 curved and 1 smaller straight side)
I'm missing a right angle clamp, so you would need to purchase one to make it a full 3 sided rack.

Comes with 12 Gibraltar Road Series Multiclamps - about $300 worth of hardware
7 Pearl CH2000S Arms - about $400 worth of hardware
About 8 memory locks
Legs/feet

Tama tom mounts NOT included... unless you want my Starclassic Bubingas!

I'd like to sell the whole thing as a lot for $500. If a bunch of people are interested, I'll spare it up into parts.
I'd also include all of this at a discounted price with the Tama SC Bubinga drum set I am trying to unload!

Anyone have cracked cymbals that they want to get rid of? I prefer the higher end (B20) cymbals, because the metal is easier to work with.

Also, I'll be modifying and playing them, so I prefer that they are used but not abused (not HUGE cracks, pieces missing, keyholing, oxidation, etc)

Just PM me if you have anything you think I'd be interested in!!!

I am a fellow drummer that created a website to sell custom made splitters for Roland TD-9, TD-12, and TD-20 kits. These custom cables split the "head" and "rim" sounds on a given input of your Roland drum module so you can expand your kit beyond its' typical capacity. The address is http://www.drumsplitters.com

Check it out and let me know what you think!

PEARL ICON RACK

Hi,

I have a three curved bar ICON rack.

10-12 clamps - assorted black clamps, straight ICON clamps, and tilting clamps

Boom arm holders in all the uprights (two Pearl, two DW)

Thinking $350 as it would be REALLY spendy to put all this together (the boom holders are $100 alone).

What do you think?

I can email pics if you are interested.

Hey folks,

After 15 years of drumming, I've decided to call it quits. With that in mind, I'm selling my prize drumkit. These are actual DW Collector's series drums in black velvet wrap. The drums are very unique. The kick is a maple shell while the tom and floor toms are birch. I ordered it that way. WHY? I've always said that the best sounding kick I ever had was a maple kick while nothing could ever sound as good as birch when it came to my toms and floors. The result is truly impressive. You've never heard thunder 'til you've played this kit.

Specs:
kick drum: 16 x 24 maple shell with the vlt option on it.
born: Dec. 05 2008
note: Bb
tom: 10 x 13 birch shell with stm mount
born: Dec. 05 2008
note: Bb
Floor 1: 14 x 16 floor tom birch shell with legs
born: Feb. 23 2009
Note: F#
Floor 2: 14 x 18 floor tom birch shell with legs
born: Dec. 05 2008
note: A

The 14 x 16 floor tom has a different born date because when I ordered the drums, they sent it as a floating tom instead of with legs. the sales slip on all drums are the same.

snare: 6 x 14 Ahead brass snare with s-hoops, 24 strand wires and soft shell case.

Cymbals: Paiste
10" Paiste Alpha splash
15" Paiste 3000 medium hi hats
16" Paiste 2002 china type
18" Paiste Alpha crash
18" Paiste 2002 medium crash
19" Paiste 2002 crash
22" Paiste Alpha heavy ride

Hardware:
DW 5000 double bass pedals
DW 5000 2 legged hi hat stand
2 - Tama double braced boom stands
1 - Tama single braced boom stand
1 - Tama roadpro double braced snare stand
3 - cymbal arms with clamps
Original DW heads, remo coated emperor batters, DW resos and Remo powerstroke 3 kick drum batter with DW reso.

My stuff is listed in kijiji in New Brunswick, Canada. This is an incredible drumkit for the price. Serious inquiries only, no trades. Best offer

Hi folks,
I live in Mumbai, India. I'm need of a basic drumkit as a gift to my little sister who's turning 15 on the 2nd of April.

Kindly note - A Basic Drumkit would be just your average 5-piece with hats, a couple of cymbals and a ride. I'm not looking to buy those junior drums available.

Please contact me on my profile. All details are given.

This week’s edition of Mike’s Mad Mondays is here, brought to you by www.dominoretroplate.com!!!! It is like a box of chocolates this week with the notable exception that you pretty much know what you are getting here:

Cymbals:

Absolutely beautiful, A Custom 19” Crash – this cymbal is astounding! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400104628258&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Another Absolutely beautiful A Custom - 16” Crash! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400104628822&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

For all of you Paiste addicts, a vintage Red Color sound Power crash , 16”! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400104631894&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Here is a real collectible and a real cymbal, a 6” Sabian 20th anniversary Splash cymbal in never played condition! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170448903188&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

More vintage cymbals, a pair of thin Zildjian Hi Hats with the trademark stamping indicating their having been produced in the 1960s, one cymbal in this pair has a crack. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170448906930&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Another Vintage Paiste offering, a 12” Paiste 200 Splash, made in West Germany dating it to at least pre-1989! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400104629596&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Another vintage cymbal, a Camber 20” Ride, in pretty good condition. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400104629046&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Drums!

Then a vintage Yamaha Snare drum, a 6x14 model 765MA that has been caught at just the right time for an easy restoration by a good, loving owner! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400104633948&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

With all of the talk about vintage drums, I have these vintage Yamaha drums the Stage 2 which are pretty much a carry over from the 7000 series Yamaha was producing in 1978. The exception is that these have wood hoops as opposed to metal on the bass drum and the shell construction in Mahogany with an inner ply of beech; these are great drums in the popular size of 12” 13” 16” and a 14x22” Kick! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170449803708&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Cases:

Need a good Bass Drum case? Here is the best deal you will ever get – a Protechtor brand case for a 22” diameter bass drum! Will fit 14” and 16” deep bass drums easily! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170449805819&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Tom case 1, an Impact brand case which served me very well for the last two decades for a 10x10” Tom without RIMS and this one is foam lined: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400104973437&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Another Impact brand case which served me very well for the last two decades for an 11x12” Tom without RIMS and this one is foam lined as well: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170449807825&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Copied from my craigslist ad:

FOR SALE- Used Sabian AAXPlosion 16" Crash Cymbal and AA Fast 18" Chinese Cymbal.

Used for a few years, both great cymbals. I hate to part with them but I've got another cymbal to pay for and I simply don't use these anymore. Ink has faded and they could use a good polishing but it they both play great. No cracks, keyholing, drilled holes or anything.

$175 for AAXPlosion, $190 for AA Fast Chinese, or $350 for both.

g.s.robinson2@gmail.com if you're interested in either or both!

Thanks!

For Sale:

It's a 1982 XP8 kit with the following spec's:

2 18x24 Bass drums
12x12 Rack tom
14x14 Rack tom
18x18 Floor tom
20x20 Floor tom
7.5x14 Snare

All maple 8 ply shells, except for the snare which is 10 ply maple. All drums are original black wrap finish, except for the snare which is natural maple lacquer finish.

I am also throwing in 2 Caroline ASBA bass drum pedals, a Rogers hi-hat stand, a pair of Paiste 302 hats, and an old Premier throne.

Heads are in decent shape: Aquarian Super Kick 1 bass drum batters w/Aquarian black Resonator reso heads. Aquarian Hi-Energy snare batter over Remo Ambassador snare side head. Toms have Remo clear PinStripes over Remo clear Ambassador reso's.

These drums are well used, as I have played most of the LA club circuit with them back in the day, so there's some scratches, minor chrome pitting, dirt, nothing unusual for drums that are 28 years old. Still very tuneable and playable. I was still playing them up until 2 months ago. They were even played once by Chuck Ruff (Edgar Winter Group),

I have attached current pics. The configuration shown is not how I had them set up, (so no tom angle jokes please) as I had a rack system (remember the TAMA Cage?), and all the original Rogers hardware except for the hat stand has long since bit the dust.

I am happy to answer any questions or take additional pics.

Asking for $600 or best offer.

I'm selling the 20X17 Bass drum from my brand new Yamaha Oak Custom kit... It is in Honey Amber and I feel like sticking with 18" bass drums from now on. The thing is brand new. I've gigged with it only 5 or 6 times. Sounds awesome, but is just not the size I'm used to. I'm asking $750 plus shipping.

FOR SALE:
PRICE REDUCTION....

VINTAGE ?60's ?70's "Hollow Logo" Zildjian 14" HiHats
These are in great shape... No keyhole-ing, No warping, No dents..., considering these are 40+ yrs old.

I have tried my best to show STAMPING and LOGO.
I have also included a link to determining these marks and their authenticity:
http://www.hidehitters.com/cymbals/Z.../timeline.html

The stamp on the BOTTOM hat appears "thinner" than that of the TOP hat, but I don't know if that is wear over time or just that way, hence ?60's vs. ?70's or mixed. If I had to guess, I would say 70's because of the Zildjian "HOLLOW LOGO"
Either way, a valuable wonderful set of hats with a darker crisp sound.

PRICE: $210 shipped to USA.
Reasonable offers will be entertained.

I have bought and sold on EBAY and VDRUMS.COM with 100% Positive feedback and reputation (user: KENGOLFNUT for both sites). Paypal is the easiest my efficient form of payment.

I have switched to smaller cymbals, so these babies have to go. All of these cymbals are around a year or so old and all of them are in great condition. No cracks, keyholing, etc... I haven't even touched these cymbals in at least 9 to 10 months, so they are ready to go!

18" Bosphorus Traditional Crash (Medium-thin) $150- Superb sounding cymbal! A little dark, but can still cut through when needed

17" Zildjian K Dark Crash $150 -Logos are a bit faded, but they were like that when it was purchased new. Sounds great, like a K should.

20" Paiste Signature Full Ride- $150 - This baby is stellar. Good stick definition, clear tone. All around workhorse cymbal. Not really crashable to my ears, but maybe it would be for someone else.

14" Paiste Sound Edge Hi-Hats - $160 - Great sounding hats with some nice bark to them.

Looking to Trade

I have a early/mid 90's model 17" Zildjian A Thin Crash. Sounds great and has a nice patina going on it which is hard to see in the pics from the glare. Only real problem is that it just doesn't blend with my other crashes very well. I'd like to trade (preferably in USA) for something that would pair better with AAXplosions. I do tend to prefer thinner cymbals but I'm pretty open brand-wise and could possible add or take some $ or something to even it out. I would be willing to consider ofers to buy it as well. If you're interested, drop me a PM or hit me up at wraithborne73@hotmail.com

Okay, I need to do this, so here goes.

Here is a beautiful 2004 Gretsch USA Custom drum kit in champagne sparkle wrap. This thing has NEVER been gigged out and has stayed in a smoke free studio for the past 6 years. I recently inherited this kit from the original owner, who was my good friend. I helped my friend buy this kit, so I can answer any questions you might have. I can tell you this thing is in MINT condition. Except for a tiny bit of rash on the kick drum hoop, I can't find a flaw on this kit. The original owner had a personal studio where he used this kit, so it probably has less than 50 hours of total playing time on them. It's that new! Of course, the kit sounds big and beautiful, just like you'd expect a USA Gretsch to sound.

The sizes are: 26X14 kick (virgin), 13X9 rack (comes with RIMS mount), 16X16 floor (with legs), 14X6.5 snare

But wait, there's more! The kit comes with Humes and Berg hard cases for ALL the drums. The cases are also in great shape, although they do have some scuffs from being moved a couple of times.

Not done yet! The kit ALSO comes with a set of new heads (top and bottom) for the toms. (Coated G2s and Remo Diplomats) It also comes with an extra snare head-Remo Emperor X- AND it also comes new kick drums heads (Smooth white Ambassador and coated PS3). I also have the original resonant heads, if the buyer wants them.

I recently priced this kit out and it came up right around $4K. That is without the cases, heads, etc..

I'm asking $2195.

I have more pictures, if someone is interested.

ISSUE- I do not currently have boxes to be able to ship the kit. If you have an idea about how to do this, I'll work with you. I'm also willing to sell the kit without the cases.
