Yea!
Your playing was quite smooth and those fills were awesome. Grooves were sweet as pie.

I really feel that you can get real creative if you had some bells and whistles and a higher pitched tom. But do what you want man, your playing rocks.

thanks alot for the kind words!
yea i was on my friends drum kit witch is a 4 piece so i had to rock it on a simpler kit
but my normal drum kit is a 7 piece with 3 cowbells 1 woodblock and a foot clave
i also mainly play latin styles of drumming

Great playing! You show imagination, groove, chops and dynamics in your solo. I really like it. The only issue would be laying the grooves (not the free form!) down a little bit straighter in time.
But all in all awesome.

Nice! but pay atention at your righr hand in the funk groove ! :D is rushing a little bit.
the chops are ok ! but try to play something more musical without thinking at your chops! :D

Anyway Keep up the good Work!

That was great! Very nicely structured, just enough groove, with plenty of complex fillin...There were some minor problems with timing...but they are all stuff you can work out. The ending got really muddy, it's not known if it was fatigue, or just the unfamiliar set...I'd love to here you doing that on your own kit.

If I caught you at a live show, I'd not only stop and listen, you'd here me applaud when you were done!

AHHH whered the groove go?
one can only listen to random fills so long.
Grooves also help because you can show some motion or at least bob your head or something, makes things interesting.
What you played before was soo much sweeter.

Mix some of those fills with some of the latin groove and now that would be a sweet solo.

I did think it was technically good, however I didn't entirely enjoy listening to it. I don't like the snare sound being the main reason.

Good stuff though man, well in.

You get a little rushy in your grooves. There is some definite speeding up of subdivisions within the beat. And make sure your fills are always PERFECTLY in time. A stint with a metrenome will clear that up. It was good though overall man. Keep it up.

I've been playing for four years and I'm not nearly as good as you. Very nice job.

I just can't seem to get the discipline to do rudiments and train like that.

I guess when you get a wife and a job, you just can't anymore…or at least my wife won't let me. She thinks it's too loud.

I gotta get some Sound Off equipment.

…someone help me…

Get a practice pad if you just want to do your rudiments, very little sound.

Hey Fernando, I just have one question man, how is your practice time or practice routine spend, how much on playing along to music, how much doing technicalities, how much playing along to books, and so on.....Just been really trying to improve my practice time, not so much my quantity, but my quality, if you have any advice, just give it.....much appreciated thanx...

hey drummertist to practice rudiments literaly just practice them everywere all day like when im on the computer or watching tv i have my pad out and im working out rudiments or drumline excersizes..another good way to practice them is find a way to apply it to drumset (groove, fill, etc)

hope that helped!
