Hey guys, this is my torso (head got cut off) playing Symphony X's 'Inferno.'

I also put up a couple of other, much easier, songs. Tell me what you guys think!

Wow, that was good. I'm impressed, good timing and feel, smooth and quick. Not bad at all, nice set too. : )

Peace

Great stuff, and one of my all-time favourite bands.

Check out Allen Lande's The Battle!

You are very good! Never heard of the band though. That's what happens when you get older and have a job ... you lose track of the new groups! Give me your list of the top ten albums from bands that have come out in the past 10 years that I might enjoy the drumming on, will ya? I'll pick them up. Anyway, thanks for the video. Enjoyed it very much. Joey

Alright, they don't have 10 albums, but if you want a real challenge, look into these guys. Lots of odd times, cool licks, complex grooves, and double bass. A little something for everyone, really. I would suggest picking up 'The Odyssey' first, as it is their most recent album and (in my opinion) their best. They have a new CD coming out in June, as well.

Thanks for the feedback, and good luck picking these guys apart!

You've got some time invested in rehearsing this...very good, very entertaining. I enjoyed listening and watching. I even like how you recorded both the drums and the song together. How did you do that, what equipment...all the jazz...

It's actually really easy to do. All I did was record the song through my camera, load it into Windows Movie Maker, and then laid the song over the top of the video.

Thanks for the comment!

Awesome, Symphony X is def one of my favourite bands. You perfectly nailed the song. But ehm.. How did you get the drums out of the original recording?

I didn't. They're in there along with my drums, but I mixed the audio coming in from the camera louder than the audio from the song, so you hear more of me and less of Jason Rullo, which isn't always a good thing. Thanks for the feedback, man!
