Smilies would be a great improvement for this place. If there's a suggestion section that skipped my eye, my apologies.

No smilies is pretty much an unwritten rule *lol* Bernhard doesn't like them at all because they tend to be overused.

Not having smilies with 10 or 20 carriage returns between em is what makes this place so much easier to read than the other forums. Its really annoying reading a thread which is all full of posts of nothing but smilies. So I hope the staff here keeps them out of the posts....

Rob tells you the rule and explains why, and you guys do it anyway.
Imagine a smiley here of a moderator shaking his head.

So we don't allow smilies here.....big deal. They just overcrowd the place and are annoying. I use the ;:::-) or öö:$$-) kind every once in a while, and on occasion, WITHOUT knowing, have accidentally put one of the colourful ones in, and I can see how annoying they are. And if you don't like saying 'lol', then put 'haha'
edit: no please not!!! Bernhard

Wow. A member explains the rule to you, a Moderator explains the rule to you, another Moderator has to delete one of your posts, the owner of the site logs on the explain it to you... and you do it again anyway. Bye bye Aqualung.
