Greetings everyone,
I'm excited about this post. Last night I had the phenomenal opportunity to play yet another show with long time friend and amazing bass player, Pennal Johnson. I didn't get a chance to put the whole performance together on tape, so I put together a small preview. This was about 5 minutes into our show when we were trading improvised solos....dang it was a hot crowd. Well I'll shutup and let the vid speak for itself.

Excellent job, your friend as some major groove, and an awesome stage presence, your solo was solid and flowing, great job!

Great playing - as always! I like the fact that you were restrained and in the pocket when you needed to be and then busting out the big chops during your solo. There is a new young cadre of players out there who are working a lot and you deserve to be in that group. Truly one of the best players who posts on this site.
