Does anyone know if Tony can special order a cymbal for me? Specifically I want to buy 24" Bosphorous Turk Medium Ride? or a 24" Master Turk that is about 1000g-1500g heavier than his heaviest one.
I didnt want to ask him directly because I wont be able to afford it for a few months.
Thanks for any info.

You should ask him directly. He can pose the question to Bosphorous and then it's up to them if they will do it or not. But, Tony and Bosphorous are the only ones who will know for sure.

Yes he can, but still email him directly and ask tony@cymbalsonly.com Even if you can't afford it for a few months, he'll be happy to ask the question. Asking a question isn't the same as placing the order :) I believe that he only puts in cymbal orders once a month anyway, so he would have to put in the order for your custom cymbal the next time he orders all the others that he wants, so it wouldn't be immediate anyway. Also it takes about 6 weeks for the cymbal to come in, so that would give you even more time.

yes, e-mail him. He will be a great service, I would promise.
But from his website I can this under the section "Special Orders": "If you don't see what you're looking for here, we can have it made!"
So, as far as I know he can ask the brand for a custom cymbal...I guess it would take a longer time than usual but it`s worth it. So, if you want to, ask him...

Yeah, I e-mailed him around three o'clock today and got a reply 8 minutes later, 8 MINUTES it usually takes longer than that if you ask someone a question face to face in a store . I have to say I was very impressed at the dedication and how nice he was. Well for anyone interested here is his reply.
Hi Louie-
Thanks so much for the email!
Yes, I can definitely get that, and in fact, I've ordered that exact piece before! Build time can be anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months, depending on where we are in the order cycle.
Any other questions, let me know!
