Hey guys,
I've posted this vid before, but I went back through and messed around with some different video filters and what not. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. This is a vid of me drumming to my original composition, "Melodic Weather."

That was great playing man!!!
What's the sticking your playing on that lick around 3:31, where you are playing off of the snare and crashes?

Thanks bro I appreciate you checkin it out! On this one I did all of my vid editing with windows movie maker, then I dumped that file into Nero and did all the fx.

That was awsome. You had nice chops during the 3 min mark to 3-45 min mark. No what i really wonder is what you used to make those video effects. Can you do that in windows media maker? If not what software did you use? Nice playing once again.

Thanks Karl! Haha, it's funny you should mention Simon Phillips...he happens to be one of my major influences, and TOTO is my favorite band of all time. I use the same tuning approach as Simon in the fact that I use absolutely no dampening in my shells or on the head. And the engineer I was working with that day was brilliant as well...the two make a great combo.

mhhh, how do you tune them to get such a Simon sound? Low tuned batter, higher tunes reso?

I actually tune the batter head quite generously. I think a lot of people are afraid to crank their batter heads. My resonant head tuning is a formulated secret, haha. But once again, there is absolutely no dampening. Overtones are our friends!
