Just got off the phone with Aquarian owner, Roy Burns!
Was having problem with a head of mine chipping, so I called him up and he said they'll give me a free replacement.
Definitely some top quality service from Aquarian, I can't really picture Remo or Evans doing the same thing (or maybe I'm wrong, who knows).
But yeah, aside from a bit of a chipping problem, the head sounded amazing.
And after this I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Which head was chipping? I absolutely love Aquarian... I wish there was a reliable local dealer here in Lethbridge.

I'm going back to Aquarian on my next head purchase. Love em. Never had to use their customer service, but it's good to know it's... umm... good. :)

First welcome in the Aquarian family and glad the Aquarian exceptional customer service solved your flaking problem. Have fun experimenting their heads.

I now have a local dealer but before I used to order them by email with Long & McQuade Ottawa. I'm sure you can order them from L&M in Edmonton or Calgary and they are less expensive than Remo or Evans.

I once had a bad head too. It wasn't a coating problem but it was a problem with a slightly bent hoop. I called and also talked to Roy and got a new head in the mail a few days later. That was a Performance 2 head. I have a set of the coated Studio X heads on my toms now. I like them a lot. I never used coated heads.... ever. The coating is chipping off the 10 inch tom like crazy. This is just after a few hours of playing time. I'm not going to complain I am going back to clear heads soon anyway. The coating is fine on the other 2 heads though. It is just the one that is peeling like sunburn.

I have tried multiple Aquarian coated heads and none ever chipped easily as some says, it must be bad batch of coating like Aquarian said it could happen sometimes.

Yeah, i would agree with that because like I said, it's only the one head that chipped and peeled. The head still sounds good. It just has a bare spot.
