Title self-explanatory.

I bought this cymbal because it was so cheap. I didn't like it very much, and generalized to expect to not like much else by Saluda. I'll be getting rid of it as soon as possible.

Comments appreciated - I think its just the sound I don't like, its well made and whatnot.

Listen to this clip (http://www.saludacymbals.com/c/sounds/rgalichon.mp3) for comparison. This clip was done by Rich Galichon who is endorsed by Saluda. The bigger crashes in this recording are 17" and 18" Mist-X.

I should have all my new Mist-X cymbals next week hopefully. Sent off my trade in today. I can try to get some good clips of them for you.

I am supposed to get my cymbals on Wednesday according to DHL. I am looking forward to trying these cymbals out. I will try to post sound clips as well. This is what I am getting:

7" Expressions Bell
8" Mist-X Splash
16" Mist-X Medium Thin Crash
17" Diamond Medium Thin Crash
20" Diamond Medium Ride
18" Voodoo Thin China

I would love to hear what the Expressions Bell sounds like. I really want to add something like that to my kit. I just ordered two large bicycle bells for my oldest son and I. One will go on his trike, and the other will go on my hats to replace the small bell on there now. The small bell will make its way to my youngest son's trike.

I'd like to hear the rest of your lot as well.

gruntersdad - yes, I am looking to sell this cymbal. It doesn't fit with the rest of my setup, and I'm just not a big fan of the sound.
