Do you own any?
What do you think of them?
I was most impressed by what I heard (soundfiles at Paiste's website) in the Thin Crashes.

i have replaced all but the ride, but the crash wasn't awful and the ride is great, i just need something more mellow. its a great rock ride though.

I own the medium hats, medium ride, and thin (not medium) crash, which I preferred to the medium when I played it in the store. All of them are excellent cymbals, though as the last person said, the ride is good for rock, but not much else.
Overall they are some of, if not the, best cymbals in their price range.
Edit: I forgot to mention; the splash is also quite nice for only 30 USD.

ride cuts well. The medium crash is okay if you really lay into it to open up the sound. The hats -- well, they suck. Although they are probably one of the best for the price range -- with maybe the Sabian XS20 hats being slightly better.

I own the...thin...crash....
Excellent! Someone who actually uses one of the thin crashes!
Do you think the soundbytes of those thin crashes at Paiste's website, are a good representation of what you have?
Also, I concur with the comments about the ride, and I don't get the hats at all.

The 18" Rock Crash is the best crash for the price. Reminds me of the 2002 for 1/2 the price.

Surprisingly, yes. The soundbyte sounds almost exactly like the how my thin crash sounds.

I have PST 5 Medium Crash 16" And i realy like how it sounds with bass drum. love that sound ;) And its one of cool sound and low price cymbals :D i like that... But Paiste name isnt so good/known like Zildjian or Sabian. So that's why i choose Sabian/Zildjian...

erm...what?
And why buy on the name anyway? Its all asbout the sound, hence i play staggs and ufips ;)
Sort of on topic, the low/mid level paistes have always seemed the best to me. Im still playing my 101 hats cos they sound great! Maybe i just got lucky?

PST5 user myself. I detest the 16" medium crash tho. Its horrible. It just rings after hitting it, sold it soon after I got it. The ride is good for rock, the bell sounds great too. Milky thick sound.
Right now, only the hats remain in my hands. I've replaced the others with Zildjian K, A, and K custom.
The thin crashes do sound good in the sound samples.

A friend bought this splash...and he said: look what I've bought for €35! ...it sounded just awesome for the price...really high quality for a beginner cymbal.

I have the 20 med ride and love it I also have the 14" med hats and am very pleased with them. I use a sound formula crash and the mix is very good for me.

Hey, I used to ride the boat with a guy from Eau Claire!
His dad worked at the local bar.
That guy's got some great stories.

I have a 16 and 14 thin crash. I like the sound of both of them. I play southern gospel and praise and worship music and they work very well for the music style. I think they cut well... I actually had two different drummers with signed groups ask me what what I was playing. When I showed them the PST5s beside the alphas they were honestly blown away and said for the price they sounded very well over the cut of the music. So i think that is a good sign lol. I am about to trade in some of my gear and strip my kit down....only thing is what to buy what to buy....
