Toe Stop for DW-9000 Pedal

Hi everyone! I'm doing some shopping on musiciansfriend.com for some toe stops for my 9000s and the only two they have is a Gibraltar which says "compatible with Gibraltar pedals and most other manufacturers" and a DW that says is only compatible for 5000s and 7000s.

Does anyone know which of these two (if either or both) will work fine for my 9000s?

I would think the DW would be the most likely bet. You could possibly email dw and ask, or, just order the toe stop and if it doesn't fit, send it back.

I think the DW would fit. If it doesn't, it is only a $4.80 loss, so no biggie?

Yes, I had that problem (DW 5002 user). I got toe stops for free when I bought mine, so problem solved. Great how things work out!

I don't think so. I never found them if they did... but then again, I lose things often.

I had to use a 9000 series double-pedal at NAMM, and that's exactly what happened to me. My right foot kept sliding right off the board, and into the chain, where it would get stuck!
I didn't enjoy playing it at all.

Never have that problem with my Axis pedals, and they don't have a toe-stop.
Sure didn't expect that problem!

If I wear my drum shoes my feet never slide up. I take the toe stoppers off my DW 9000's cause I do a Whip (heal toe sorta thing) motion with my right foot lots to get single foot triplets etc, so when I do that my toe goes right under the chain, its something I have to live with until I can sell these pedals and get some axis longboards.

I Just don't want to buy the access until I can find a place to try them out.

I have a 5000 single, it came with a toe stop, which i wanted to put on, cause i had the sliding problem,

but the screw on the floor board is so tight i cant get it off, i dont want to risk stripping it anymore... anyone else have this problem?
