does aquarian make a 2 ply head in black color?
i was thinking about getting ebony pinstripes but i dont like them that much, they would be a last resort type of thing, so if aquarian makes a 2 ply in ebony ide definetly do that i like aquarian more. and does aquarian have anything that mimics the remo ps3 bass head/ or one that mimics the sound of niel pearts bass?

Have you seen the Studio X Series with the Black Ring?

Studio-X aren't two ply

The only Ebony heads in Aquarian family are Classic clear and Hi-frequency in black video gloss format or the Jack De Johnette signature heads.

yah, i was thinking about the classic clear ones, i knew about those ones. i was looking for two ply cuz i like its sound. but i would like to try some 1 ply soon but am worried i'll wear then out to soon.

i somtimes beat the livin' crap outta my drums durin gigs. can a one ply take that?
at home practiceing daily i dont.

would the one ply ebony in aquarian stand up to me? :op

i dont like the jack De Johnette heads they are coated black, ive tried them once, they seem to have a "dead" sound.

Then go and try the classic clear in black video gloss if you find the JDJ heads too muffled.

You know the Guy's at GC sold them to me a couple weeks ago, told me they were two ply, and I never gave it a close look, I always used EVANS. Love the way they sound though.
Thanks for the info.
