I haven't been here in a long time. For months I was trying to log in and it said that I was banned, a little confused about that. For the heck of it I tried today and it logged right in.

Anyways since the last time I was here, I joined a cover band, we play everything from Southern Rock and Country to Metal songs (More metal songs since I've joined) from our last recorded gig there is some videos up on my site. If your interested, let me know what you think. Thanks!

BTW my setup is a 5 Piece Pearl Export 90's Wine Red finish with a 12" Tama Mike Portnoy Melody Master Snare (I love that snare to death) and a DW 4000 double pedal, I'm not sure if you could hear the bass drum or not.

the cymbals for that show were: (From my left to right)

10" Sabian XS20 Splash
14" Zildjian A Mastersound Hi-Hats
16" Sabian XS20 Rock Crash
16" Zildjian K Custom Dark Crash
18" Zildjian A Medium Thin Crash
20" Sabian XS20 Rock Ride (Awesome sounding ride, even if it is intermediate)
18" Wuhan China

After tonights gig, we are playing a stage where I can fit my Pearl 8 Piece kit, so expect some killer pics and video of that later!

Was the overall sound of the drums ok? I loved the sound of the snare, but I could barely hear the bass drum, at least with the speakers I jave.

I think you are good enough to play original music. Create music that has not yet been heard and try to bring that to people, if you aren't already doing it.

Actually we do have a few original songs in the set as well, although we are primarily a cover band.

I like the sound of your snare.
