Yeah its me again, i was bored with my previous setup, i still love that setup, but im gonna fiddle with this one for a while
right now im really digging this setup, still a lot of tweaking to do, but i only have a limited time to play (townhouse ) and it took me nearly an hour to fiddle with my splash placement alone .
well heres the pics

Is that a HH raw bell dry ride I see?
Interesting concept with your setup, you just need a 2nd ride to make it complete!
How do the roto's go as your main rack toms?

How has it affected your playing? It's an interesting set up. I like it.

Interesting setup. The only question I have is about the ride cymbal positioning. Is it facing left as much as it looks in the picture?

Looks cool man. Now you just gotta either get a second ride, or move it in the middle ... and dust your cymbals!

Really original and a new approach - not often seen here.
But you do need to tidy up a bit on and around your set!

it's not really symmetrical, but it looks like it's tons of fun to play

yeah its a HHRBDR i love it, best ride ever made IMO, im looking for another ride too, i may rivet the clap out of it to make it a snazzy effects ride :)
the rotos are pretty good as main toms, i have Evans Hydraulics on the 8" and 10" so they sound more punchy and focused, they have the attack i like out of my toms, but unfortunately not the...body i could get from shelled toms... the 6" roto has a single ply g1 on it, and it sounds like boobs and diamonds! its so high, and its awesome for accents
How has it affected your playing? It's an interesting set up. I like it.well its made me try to get out of the 'run down all the toms' fill, but it doesn't make ii impossible, the main thing i like is having all the splashes and effects right in front of me, it opens up new possiblities, i sometimes do things that are melodic almost. i also like doing sixteenth note single fills, starting on the 6" but then separating the singles between the drums that are opposite each other, its kind of cool...
Interesting setup. The only question I have is about the ride cymbal positioning. Is it facing left as much as it looks in the picture?its not that far left, its basically right beside me where i sit, so its a pretty good feel, i like having it there.
First AAX ozone i've seen outside of Namm. Bitchin'.its odd, i actually got it at an ordinary L&M 3 months ago... must have been a pre-release? i knew it wasn't out yet, and id only ever seen prototypes, so i picked it right up...
But you do need to tidy up a bit on and around your set!hahah yeah im a messy guy, but all brilliant men are....i guess?
looks nice...i like it...hows having 2 hats either side? i was thinking of doing this once i get some new hats and putting th old ones on my rightits really comfortable there, i want to put it a bit higher though, im not getting a whole lot of power out of it in the position its in now.
thanks for all the comments guys! keep em coming, and i guess ill post some specks now
