...Thanks Safteyhelmetkid
Specs the white marine pearl sizes are 24x16, 13x9, 16x16, with a 14x6 edge snare.
The black oyster kit is 22x16, 13x9, 16x14, with a 14x6 maple snare.
I have a pile of different cymbals that I mix and match, but my favorites are a 20" Manhattan ride, 14" HH dark hats, 16" HH thin, and 17" HHXtreme crash.
I love the flat based hardware, especially with the black oyster kit. When I play those drums, I feel like I am back in the sixties, rather than closing in on my sixties.
Will Calhoun held a clinic in Edmonton last fall. It was my first clinic, and you are right, Will is a monster. After the show he was gracious enough to sign my cymbal for me.
My drums have changed a little since these pics were taken.

Dude sweet kits!! Love the lugs on the white one.
How do you like the dw5000 single pedal? I think i might get rid of a double pedal for it.

2 really nice kits. And agreed Will Calhoun is a monster player and a very cool cat. Quite inspirational to me (his Jungle Funk stuff).
...I just picked up a new digital camera so I thought I would take some pics of my DW/Sonor kit.

The bass is an older Keller shelled 20x16 cherry black burst. The toms are force 3005 special edition (Long & McQuade 50th anniversary edition) 10x8 and 14x14 in a birdseye maple cherry finish. The snare is a 13x5.5 craviotto in ebony satin.
The cymbals, 20" Manhattan ride, (love those pre HHX Manhattans), 14" Manhattan hats, 18" AAXplosion, and 18" Legacy crashes.
I put the bass mounted cymbal arm and holder together out of stray parts, and have one similar to it on the22x16" black oyster bass drum as well.
As I have said in previouse posts, I love DW harware as it is so versatile and lends itself quite well for modification, and all around tinkerability. Also, being the packrat that I am, my odds and ends pile has become a big box of drummers leggo.
Thank you for allowing me this indulgence.

Nice pics, laddie. Needless to say since I am also closing in on my sixties,I like the oyster pearl DW kit; this kit seems to be more "genuinely black oyster" than my own modern-day Ludwig kit,but I think the sizes of yours are the same as mine, excepting the floor tom. I like DW alot. Had I not spotted my Ludwig kit at Guitar Centre,I would've bought a set of DWs. Thank you for showing off, great kits....

Nice sets all around. I think he DW/ Sonor is my favoite. You would never guess it was made of different types of drums.
