I don''t understand whats small about your kit. Its all done big boy style, just the way it should be.

If you dont mind, im not a big reso head guy, but my drum "mentor" always told me to get hazy 300's on my snare. whats the difference (physically and soundwise) between the Hazy 200 and 300?

Compared to my other kits it's small believe me. The 200 is just a smaller gauge of head that provides a little bit more sensitivity for rolls and sticking. I'm not quite sure if I'm pleased with the sound so far so I'll be trying out thicker like the 300 and heavier.

Looks good! Never heard of Tama Granstar though... how would they compare to starclassics?

I really love the white Tamas and yours look awesome. I just recently picked up an older white DW set to replace my old Tama Superstars. I love the way the black resos look on white drums. Here's a pic of mine.

Haha, quite. I can also see out the back of my truck too so that's nice.

First of all much much more sensitive. even brushes are plenty loud. gives you a nice crisp pop so you can hear some snare in there.

With Evans Gdry and Hazy 200 you love live, just a little bit more.

Nice kit, looks heavy-duty, but the BD tom mount looks like the bottom half of a bowling trophy; regardless, I would love to have that kit in my own collection. ;)
