I'm an obsessive tuner, but that's freakin' crazy! I get the sense that those are steps that you should really only have to go through once every couple years.

I enjoy Bob Gatzen's videos very, very much. They are very informative, with a touch of dry humor to keep you alert.
Bob's "Drum Tuning and Design" has been on DVD for a couple of years now.
I strongly reccomend it.
I watched it again today
