Yeah I'd just got a catalogue of one and I've never heard about them before.
Does anyone have any experience with them and are they good or bad?
Not that I'm getting one of course...(I WISH)
Thanks

High end and excellent drums. They do everything, shell & hardware. They mostly used bapeva or any other brazilian exotic hard wood.
Someone here has their entry kit and it look awesome and very professional.

I remember that Airto Moreira talked about Odery drums in a Modern Drummer interview published a couple of years ago. He endorsed Odery drums (and he still does), and I remember that he said he never played so good drums. Of course one could argue that his opinion could be somewhat "influenced" by the fact that he endorsed Odery drums, but I personnally think he was sincere.
The drums look beautiful - if you didn't have a look at their website: http://www.odery.com/index.html - and I guess they also sound beautiful (and are probably priced accordingly ...).

I usually don't post with "OMG your drums are so pretty..." but damn. Do you live close enough to NC for me to take my truck to your place and steal them? It's the wood hoops and paiste cymbals that got me

Those are amazing! My buddy has an Odery kit made from the same wood. His configuration is 14" floor tom, 12" rack tom, and 18" bass drum (plus a 14" snare)... all with wood hoops like yours. The toms sound HUGE. Even the 18" kick is powerful for its size. I played briefly on a couple of odery kits at NAMM and they are simply big sounding kits, even in small sizes. They had a metal snare that was just incredible as well. I keep expecting this company to pick up some steam in the US, but it doesn't seem to be happening yet. The make top notch drums.
Oh my lovely world of percussion! Someone give me a napkin; I am drueling more than my dog.

This is one of the best looking drumsets I ever saw! I guess its sound is as good as its look!
