The sizes are 14x24 Bass Drum with double tom mount,13x9 mounted tom,12x8 mounted tom, (2) 16x16 floor toms. These drums were born on 9/7/2001 the 12x8 was added a year later. B/D pillow and B/D mounted cymbal mounts just like Buddy's kit.
The snare ia a New World Max 6.5 x 14 brass over black, 10 vintage style hooks and tube luges, sounds killer !

Nice set! How do you like that 14x24 bass drum? I have what might be a dumb question. Why do drummers have two 16" floor toms? I've read about Buddy having this set-up, but I don't understand. Maybe you can enlighten me.

Really nice set man. Looks expensive. I see you kinda have this Bonham thing going on.

I usually don't comment on people's sets, but I couldn't resist. It's absolutely beautiful, you nailed the vintage style. I especially like the old school style snare drum, it's just like a ludwig pioneer.

Thats a sexy vintage looking kit if I've ever seen one. Bass drum looks shallow. How does it sound?

I'm curious.
Why is it that whenever there is a set up with at least one up and two down people say its a Bonham set-up?
I'm not asking this question out lack of knowledge of Bohnam's place in drum history, but out of the interest of why this set up isn't immediately referred as the Buddy set-up.
Just wondering.
Cheers.

This is way more of a Buddy set-up. Bonham only had one tom up top. Also, Buddy used the two 16x16 floor toms. I asked this above, but what is the deal with using two floor toms of the same size?

man that set just screams class. the finish just looks beautiful, I'm usually more fond of finishes were the grain is still showing but that marine pearl looks wonderful. I really like the setup, how differently do you tune the two 16s?
Also, any chance of getting soem cymbal specs?
