Well..as sad as it is, today i finally packed my drums up due to the fact that my house is on the market. Yes... every drummers nightmare.. no more basement.. i'm truly bummed out at the moment... but yesterday, i had one last chance to hurry up and record another cheezy video before packing up.. i figured i'd do something a little different than Rush or Weckl... see if you recognize these guys.. yes.. most likely against popular opinion.. i'm a huge fan of these guys.. always have been since the beginning.. not to mention i grew up about 1.5 miles from the drummer Tim here in Michigan. oh yea.. also..there's a cameo guest vocalist toward the end! ha ha... enjoy and maybe i'll see you all again when i'll be able to play my drums again..i will go hide under a rock now :-(

That was fun to watch. Great playing. Why!? Why sell the house? lol. I would kill for a basement set up like that. You are pretty good at making these videos. Professional quality.

Shogun,
I love that song and you did a great job on it. Tim Alexander is definitely one of my favorites. I remember when Primus opened up for Rush one year, that was a great show. Pork Soda has to be my favorite album, Tim's playing is incredible. Sorry to hear you have to move from your awesome set-up you have there.

Dude, your playing is fantastic and I really enjoy your videos. I hate that you have to pack the kit up for a while. Good luck to you and let us know when you are up and running again.

man, at first I thought, Primus? Who are they?
And then I recognized the style and I realized who you were playing. I think one of my friends listens to them
Anyway, loved the drumming. You had a really nice sense of beat, and you were able to show talent and lay down a sick beat at the same time.
Sux we wont be hearing from you for a while. Hope your big drumstick is happy in the end :)

man what a great song!!!well odne well played!!man your great!
what about my name is mud?haha!
once i was able to play that with one foot....that was a good day....couldnt repeat it tho.... :(
the thing about it is your playing a tad different on teh hihats than in teh song so the two make a huge 32nd note sounding hihat pattern!!haha!but nicely played...an if the drums werent in teh backing track it would sound as good as it should!

My best friends dad told me this, though I'm not religious, I use this philosophy a lot:
"God gave all men two heads; unfortunately, he only gave us the blood supply to run one at a time."

Wow, nice grooving to the song, awesome camera angles too. You did good with black and white also. Nice and solid!
I'm sorry you have to split up and move out. That really sucks, just whenever you have a chance to un-pack them, be sure to take it!!!! Haha!

Awesome man, I love your playing. The video was great, I especially loved the talking skull, it was completely unexpected and creative.
Sorry to hear about the house. But I hope that you find a place that suits you just as well soon. Good luck!

yea..it's the Vinnie Paul Sig Snare.. it's pretty deep..8" ... when I was shopping for a snare I wasn't looking to get any certain brand.. just going by sound alone(and withing an affordable price range).. so when i cracked on it at the Guitar Center.. the kids there actually had it tuned pretty decent.. fell in love with it right there.. not to mention it's one of the meanest looking snares with the snake skin and spiked lugs..lol...
Thanks man,

Oh J-man, a drummer without a basement is like Brittney without hair.. :-)
Kind of a bummer that you get new drums and lose the basement. Hopefully
you'll get a regular jam space. I'm lucky and have had my basement for 20 plus
years :-) I've got too much stuff in it to move but I'd die without it.. :-)
As for me, I took the winter off from touring to relax and spend more time loafing around haha! I found I need to work harder at my couch potato technique.. :-)
I'm doing a few studio things for some other folks in the next few months but other than that, I'm enjoying a little break.
Congrats on the watchlist thing.. That's a pretty sweet deal. I think you've done more vids than most famous guys so it was bound to happen. Just promise me you won't put out a Martha Stewart style cook book. ok? ;-)
See ya round the ole forum.

Well man I think you deserve it completely. You have the right feel and groove, smoothness and essence of expeirence that seems to be what Bernhard is looking for. That means you have your own unique style and can play without a studder of your stick. From what I hear, only you, Derrick, Dan Britt, and Jeff Indyke have been selected from the forum to be in the watchlist. That is a really awesome oppertunity I'm sure. Congrats on that.
Peace
