Wow, this kit has come a long way since you last showed it off. Major props. That Wuhan gong must sound amazing.. I played a 22" Stagg gong and it was fantastic .. I bet Wuhan makes even nicer gongs, too.

How comfortable are the rotos for you where you have them now? I know it's all personal preference, but it seems like they would be better suited above the bass-mounted tom. Just a thought.

Thank you very much, the gong is amazing.. one day id like to put some recordings up.

The rotos are pretty comfortable there, but I love mixing stuff up every once in a while, so I just may put them there tomorrow when the band comes over to jam.

Thanks again for the props hah

Try setting them up like mine; it makes fills a lot more easier...

Exportdrummer: Yeah they're really versatile, they get great tones, I would get them if I were you.. They're so cheap too!! I love them

Thumper: This weekend I was looking around for pictures on how to set them up and I found yours, and that exact picture helped me set them up right hahaha..

I now have them highest to lowest and they're over the hi-hat, I'll get more pictures as soon as my sister is done with the digital camera..

Right on, they're really cool instruments to have..

Actually haha the only Zeppelin cover my band does is "Moby Dick", I play along to all my Zeppelin cds (Got 'em all too, went out and bought the complete studio recordings box set last summer, best boxed set ever) though... You could say Bonham is my main influence haha..

Yeah it is, I forgot the actual measurement, but it is very thin.. I can still get a nice punch out of it though..

Hahaha good one, the gong was $139.99 when I got it last October... I got it off of Musician's Friend, I haven't looked at the gongs in a while but I'm pretty sure they've gone up a bit in price..
