Nice snares, and nice to have both a "classic" and a "modern" option!
All the Tamburo snares I played were really good, and some of them - particularly the Original - absolutely outstanding.
Enjoy playing them all!

Nice snares, I especially like the Tamburo, and see you are a big fan of die-cast hoops.

I have a couple of snares with die-cast hoops, the Artist Bronze, and the blue Designer in this pic, but I think triple-flanged hoops open up the sound of most snares a bit more than the die-cast.

Wow, beautiful snares, especially the Tamburo. Stave construction is great! I play a solid-shel ironwood snare from www.spiritdrums.com - see it at http://www.drummerworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18719
Staves are much like solid shell in that the shells are thicker and glue use is much less than a plywood drum.

oh my GOD...
as for the main thread... I really like staves. I've never played tamburo, but it seems to be great.
