so i just refinished my drums and they blue...

blue me away haha,they sound fantastic now.so I had a first act kit for about 1 year two months and i gave it away couple of weeks latr I got these other off a brand 6 piece drumset for just 250.00 and just decided to take the wrap off of it and paint these drums.First I sanded the bad boys then I just did about 2 coats of blue stain and this is the finishing product so I'm proud of em take a look.

Man, I like it. Very nice.

Whenever I finally (see: can afford to) get my custom kit made, I want to do a deep, royal blue laquer finish with part black and part chrome hardware.

some masking tape and newpaper inside the drum would have really helped prevent paint drips.

haha thanx man oh and my snare was actually a tom made into a snare invention haha I just measured everything and drilled and lemme tell ya it sounds exactly like a snare should haha 12/8
