i guess it'd be rude for me not to... so here.

Dodgy el-cheapo "Stage" kit: 22x16 bass, 12x10 + 13x11 rack toms, 16x16 floor tom
Pearl EXR snare, 14x6.5

Cymbals consist of:
Paiste RUDE 14" hi-hats (white finish)
Sabian AA 19" Medium crash
Sabian XS-20 10" splash
Sabian AA Metal-X 18" crash
Zildjian Planet Z 20" ride
Stagg SH 14" china
and i have a Zildjian 14" Planet Z crash just sitting there on a stand to remind me to replace it.... i shall soon be replacing the ride and the china...

Pearl P-122TWL double bass pedal
Pearl H-820 hi-hat stand
Dixon stands, Stage stands, Dixon implant, Pearl adaptor

other than that what else is one to list....
drumheads are nothing to write home about, remo cs coated snare batter, standard resonator, remo ba clear for rack tom batters, ambassador clears for resonators, ambassador clear for batter and resonator on floor tom. bass has a yamaha logo'd remo resonator just because it's ported, and a pdp logo'd batter. i don't fuss over the bass drum.

excuse the pretty crap quality, it was my phone camera.

I hate to sound rude, but your setup looks pretty awkward. That snare is kinda far out there, and I can't see how you could easily access your ride.. it almost looks as if you have to reach around the side of the 2nd mounted tom to get to it.

How are those white hi-hats by the way? I'm curious as to how they sound -- I'm skeptical of any sort of "paint patina" because I get the feeling that it significantly decreases the sound of the hats. Your thoughts?

and how does the planet z ride sound, i saw you had the 14" one you said you were replacing but i saw the 20" and you didn't say a thing about replacing it

the way i've positioned everything works fine for me.perhaps it's just the difference in what you're used to and what i'm used to. the camera angles are also probably distorting people's views of how everything is positioned. the ride is absolutely fine where it is. as for the snare, i'd rather not have it pressed up against my balls. i find it comfortable where it is. that plus the double bass pedal connecting bar thingy prevents me from moving it any closer.

yes they are the white hi-hats, no i'm not a fan of jordison by any means, i just liked the sound of them and they look nice. i got em from this store which i now hate, billy hyde music at parramatta (by the way i'm aussie). they ordered in a whole batch of paiste cymbals with the white finish. i haven't actually had the chance to compare normal rude hi-hats to white finish rude hi-hats, so i don't know which sounds better. i just like mine, and they were relatively cheap too.

the planet z ride sounds decent, i guess. i don't like the aftersound (give me a better word and i'll use it... like wash, or overtones or something), it sounds too cheap. damn, i need a job.

White hats eh? never seen something like that before, hope they treat you nice.
Are you left handed or do you play open?

playing open smells. i play left-handed.

oooo and by the way, i've re-arranged my kit. i now have a UFIP Tiger ride, which is killer. i'll take some photos eventually.

Those Hats rock! Too bad you don't have a whole white cymbal set. Does the paint on them come off

yeah they do rock.... and it doesn't come off 'unless metal-to-metal contact occurs' apparently. i don't have any bits flaking off, or any scratches of paint coming off or anything. very happy with them.
