Seriously, I am a vegetarian (no meat, no fowl, no fish, and very little dairy), no drugs or cigarettes (have to have my cigars, or what fun is life?), no alcohol (except digestivos), and I meditate and try to keep on an even keel mentally with as little stress as possible. My job is to help other people, and that gives me good perspective. The advice I always give to people who are troubled is to help others. While I love being a young grand-dad, it was horrible being a young dad. DO NOT HAVE KIDS UNTIL YOU ARE NO LONGER A KID YOURSELF! I think waiting until you are in your thirties (or at least late twenties) is best.

Plus good genes help. My mom is a great-grandmother, and she looks amazing and she's in great health. Her parents, who were of course great-great-grandparents, only passed away last year.

As far as things happening fast, I adopted my first child when I was twenty-two, and he's now twenty-one and a dad, too. So really I just got an early start.

I'm 46 - my stepdaughter is 29 and it's always fun when someone asks how old my kid is. The look on their faces as you see them doing the math in their head is priceless... I'm youthful looking (I guess) for my age because people who don't know any better have confused us for siblings... and again - more priceless looks when they find out we're father and daughter :-o

Hahahaha... at college the tutors constantly invite me to the pub, although I don't go. One asked for me to drive him somewhere because he doesn't drive and I do and they pay for all the underage kids to go to the pub during college hours.

I'm 26, but I have days where I feel like I'm 70. Married two years, no kids yet. DB made a mention to not have kids until you're no longer a kid yourself, very true, but don't have kids until you're ready even if you're older. I'm getting pretty sick of friends asking "So when are you having kids?" Uh...when we feel ready. We have friends who live paycheck to paycheck because they just had a baby. We don't want it to be that tight...that and we still want peace and quiet *lol*

What a great stroke of luck!! I'm 42 or 43...most days I can't remember. I'm also Veggie (like DogBreath) but I drink lots of alcohol and have stress levels as high as the moon! That's why I can usually pass for 51!
