Nice kit. Seems like you were playing a really big gig. Where was that?

wow looks like a big show you were playing. I have the sport marked for where my seat is also. i am sure you do it because it is easier to set up and break down. I just found like a good center of gravity and leave my seat there. nice kitttt

Oh man I LOVE IT! I'll get me a 402 snare one day. So so good

Can we get some more detailed specs on the cymbals?

Cheers guys for the feedback guys!

the gig was when my band toured with 'the darkness' last summer.

My cymbal set up changes quite often lol..

my arsenal is the following..

(ALL PAISTE!)

14" DIM POWER HATS
22" DIM POWER BELL
2 x 18" 2002 POWER CRASH
19" 2002 WILD CRASH
19" 2002 ROCK CRASH
17" / 19" SIG FULL CRASH
2 x 19" RUDE CRASH

i usually play 6 crashes, sometimes 4

I love all my gear very much :)

402s are the greatest, every snare i have ever tryed, i will always go back to this.

my dad bought this one back in 84, i dont like to take it on the road though anymore, i want to look after the old warrior haha!

Very cool. I love the apple fade finish. Is that a virgin kick by Yamaha? What a great kit you have. Gotta love the MCA's.

Its been a great kit for me, but unfortunatly i have played it for the last time, Yamaha are taking it back in the near future :(BUT!!..They are replacing it with the same kit just in silver sparkle and with an extra 24";)

Virgin Kick? sorry if i sound dumb, but what do u mean ?

You aren't kidding when you say "arsenal" of cymbals. Snare collection is freakin' awesome! If you feel you have too many snares , send one over my way. :)

Drums are simply beautiful dude and I'll go out on a limb and say quite loud too. ;) You have the setting up down to a science I see with the tape on the carpet. Right on.

Congrats and btw , do you believe in a thing called love?

Peace.

Oh man, silver sparkle is beautiful. I love that finish. By 'virgin' I mean that the bass drum does not have a tom mount (or hole). I rarely see a bass made by Yamaha that is virgin. I was just wondering. Your next kit is going to be killer. Congratulations.

I wish. I play on a Stage Custom but once I get tired of these (won't be for a while), I'll be buying myself a set of MC's.

Great drums. And even better cymbals. What was that venue in the first batch of pics? In the shot from behind the throne it looks pretty impressive - like the Brixton Academy or one of those old theatres.

Hammersmith Apollo in London!

Cheers guys! glad you like my gear

Wow cool snares. If only you had a Radio King you'd have the best snares ever made :)

Awesome kit

Your new kit will be a queen as far as I'm concerned! I mount a tom and a cymbal off of my MC bass. I prefer it that way, too. Thanks for the pictures. It's great to see you in action. Check my link out to see my Yammies ......

Very nice. I used to play this series kit back in the late 80's in Branson Missouri.

Nice kit man. I'm an MCA player as well. How do you like the Superkick on the bass drum? I didn't like it on mine (22x18). I've heard them sound great on other kits, but it wasn't happening on my kit. I've got a Ludwig 402 as well. Awesome drum huh?. I've got a coated emperor on it wide open a la Bonham and it's killer. I also have a mint 1967 5x14 supra. It's unparralleled in the studio. Anyway, have fun bashing that kit, I'm sure you're digging it.
