Hey DW, since I got the new camera I've been crazy with pictures!

Here's my dtexpress kit for what it costs, it's definately worth the money. for those who want to practice at nite or when the baby's asleep or when your parents are home, it's a nice thing to have! mines alittle diferent I added yammie hardware for better positioning of the toms. I was pleasantly suprised to find that a yamaha bass mount dbl tom holder is only $60 bucks and singles are like $25.

Dude! Lovin' the setup. I've never seen a e-splash cymbal, but I'm diggin' it. I'm a 1 up 1 down tom player myself, but there's something about 3 up 1 down setups that I really love. Very cool. Probably the first e-kit setup I've seen that I really like.

Hey thanks guys,

the pedal is just $59 yammie. it really does the job.

actually what i did was add a dual zone pad as my snare, so i could get rim shots, take the snare pad that came with the kit , make it my 1 rst tom. every input in the brain is daul zone so you get 2 drums out of every connection.I split the 4rth tom connection between the splash and the first tom. that connection comes preset with a cowbell sample and a ping ride cymbal sample. so every stock kit has those as the sounds. you have to change it and save the change on all the user kits. but its worth the effort to customize all your kits. and usaully what i do for the sample of that 1 rst tom, is take the 2 nd tom sample, lets say its a 10" maple, copy it to the 1rst tom and raise the octave a couple clicks for a higher pitch. just ideas for ya if ya ever need to do it yourself.

The one thing i love most about this kit is the user songs.......there is 80 of them. I just mute the drum part, thro on the headfones and jam with my acoustic kit!

It really has great sound, for what it costs.

I suggest spending about 75$ on a good set of head fones, & about $150 on a decent amp or sound system. It makes all the difference in the world.

Sorry guys, I was on vacation for a few days.

To answer your ? Yes you can program any pad to be anything you want, from glass breaking to digeridoo. and then of course drums or cymbals. these cymbal pads are not chockable tho.

and cost.......my kit is about 6 yrs old, and at the time it was the only yammie express kit so it was about $999. worth every penny. Now for that price your getting a better kit with more bells & whistles!
