I do it pretty much the same way I do a double. I've tried moeller, but I was personally able to get a more even sound out of the same technique as my doubles. It's just a matter of following through with the stroke, instead of stopping when the stick hits the head and letting it do ALL of the work. It should only do most of it.

h3r3tic, the moeller technique is not the answer to everything, especially multiple bounce rolls. This stuff is finger and wrist technique and A LOT of rebound theory.
Here's a thread with some good info, but focus on traditional. But seriously, if your doubles aren't up to scratch, this stuff isn't useful.

Upstroke and downstroke control is your friend here.
Stick Control deals with multiple hits on the one hand. If you practise the exercises as the book reccomends, you will find yourself improving.

I agree. The moeller motion when used in this case might produce too much of an accent, making it RRR LLL RRR LLL instead of RRR LLL RRR LLL
A little arm motion won't hurt. I use arm motion to even out my rolls. But as Jazzsnob mentioned, use the wrists and fingers as well. I don't think Jazzsnob or I are putting down the moeller. It is a tool - a very useful one. So is a screwdriver. But you won't use a screwdriver to hammer a nail. That's my take on it.

Here's an exercise that I give my students. Play pages 20-29 in Master Studies by Joe Morello. When a buzz stroke is notated, use a triple stroke. After you have mastered that, try four strokes in it's place. Then use varying degrees of multiple rebound.
Hope this helps,
Jeff
