where do you get cymbals for real cheap?

Try ebay. You can sometimes find good bargains there.

Ebay is ok, but becareful, if you find "to good of a deal" then you may not want to buy from them. On occasion you can find people who make accounts just to jip people for money and then get their account deleted and just make another and repeat the cycle. How much money do you have? We need more details....

Pawn shops, the classifieds in your home town newspaper, Craigslist....

a couple of month's ago I found a ten year old K Zildjian 19" medium thin dark crash, flawless besides the typical corrosion( that some classless people put up with), in a pawn shop for 60 Bucks. I haunt pawn shops every week. I have also been very lucky on ebay.
be very patient.

Try craigslist. And, .... be prepared to spend some money. You arent going to put 10 professional line cymbals on your kit for 300 dollars. IT just will not happen.
I currently am running a craigslist ad in my locality for some cymbals. 2400.00 (street price) worth of K Custom cymbals offered at 1100.00 which is really a good deal. I dont want to deal with ebay, I dont want to ship. And a buyer can actually see and hear what hes getting first hand. So while my cymbals arent for you, unless you happen to like K Customs and be in the central valley in California, you can find really great deals used. But be careful, and thoroughly examine a cymbal before you lay down money.
