Well how are your necesities looking. Do you have enough sticks? is your hardware holding up? heads looking fine?
If the answer is yes to all of these questions, then go into the stuff that you want. Right i suggest you something that you will want to use for a long time.
Sabian's got some fast hats out there if thats what your looking for just search musiciansfriend.
double bass pedals are nice but for jazz?
Eh whatever, purchase wisely my friend.

Well, what kind of double pedal do you have? What kind of cymbals do you want? What kinda of second snare do you want? If you have a good pedal and alright cymbals i would go for the second snare. If you have bad cymbals then buy new cymbas. If you have a pedal that is "out of date" per say or you dont like it or its just flat out not a good pedal then buy a new double pedal. Maybe you can look into mini-timps or octabons. Possibly a (new?) cowbell or a set of them. There is HUGE range of things avalable to drummers in the new century (and year ; ) ]

no no the double bass peadl is for my band(were doing a lotta odd covers Shyboy etc.)
well all my cymbals are fine(excepte my hats which arent bad),ive been using a single PDP bass pedal up to now,and have finally deemed myself to be able to start tryin double bass.
I was looking at the fast hats and i was lookin at some of the weird hats too,the splash ones etc.im looking for a small snare i think. what about Black Panther??what are their snares like???

Black Panthers=very nice snares
What about the HHX Evolution line of cymbals? The 13" and the 14" hats are quite different, certainly worth checking out. Of course Garibaldi's signature Jam Master hi hats, ride etc. might work well too. As for double pedals I haven't seen much sucess with Pearl or PDP stuff. Of course people will recommend the Iron Cobra, but it's expensive. Just try to find one that works the way you want it to regardless of name brand or price. You might be surprised. Sometimes the simple ones work better and will cost a whole lot less. Besides, who says you can't have double basses for jazz? Tell that to Louie Bellson...after all he came up with the idea...

and what about Gadd playing the double bass in...umm...forget the name...but its a lovely jazz piece...?haha!
well im seroiously looking into a 10" snare...looking at black panther...some of their stuff looks really really nice!would a 10" snare be a stupid idea for a drummer of 2 years??i mean i want a gunshot crack...something that could just melt skulls...but am i being a bit stupid??
well i was looking at DW 4000 double bass...any good??thing is aswell ive become really attached to my PDP single pedal for some reason and man it just feels right...are the double bass PDP pedals in any way good??also the Yamaha flying dragons??and out of teh flying dragons is the chain, the belt or the direct drive best??
i know im asking lots of questions...but you all know how it is...?
i was also thinking of small, light hats...can anyone recommend?12" or 13"?i know my teacher uses AAXs and i think theyre lovely...so HHXs may be a good direction thanks man...
