As of now I am scheduled to receive a 19" Meinl Byzance Medium Thin Crash, 16" Meinl Byzance China - Brilliant, and a 22" Meinl Byzance Heavy Ride.
Ahh I love using christmas money for the greater good.

UUUU yeah! sexy! Give us some pics then and tell us how do you find em...I just tried the thin models of the Byzance Rides, but anyway, the whole Byzance line sounds very very good.
I`m also very very curious about how do you find the chinas...because I never tried one. :-D
congrats man!

Sound clips would be great especially since I've never heard them outside of albums before. Are they really as "metal" genre oriented as I have gathered or are as versitile as Sabian and Zildjian?

They are not totally metal, I was influenced to buy them after meeting Paul Kohler (drummer for a screamo band named Silverstein) and seeing his kit using them I was really impressed by the sound. I know the china Chris Adler has used on tour, not sure on the crashes and rides. The Mb20 are more metal oriented.
I have been looking into the Amun and Byzance lines, I'm very interested in this. Very nice choices -congratulations!
