Will a Paiste 20" 2002 medium crash and a Paiste 20" Signature full crash go well together or will they be too much alike??? want two big rock crashes for big drum setup... any other suggestions are wicked...

I use a 19" 2002 and a 18" 2002 and I love them, but I have a 22" 2002 ride.

I would guess that the 2002 would be a bit brighter, but I'm not too sure. I have a 20" sig power crash. If you are interested in a big rock crash, its the one I'd recommend. As a bonus, its got a great bell to ride on too, I love it.

I have a 22" 2002 heavy ride and 14" 2002 soundedge hats..... so i suppose that may help !

They should work well together. My Paiste's work really well with my large A Customs and K Hybrid.

You should take your cymbal to a store and play with both them. Its the best way to figure out if they should work

i've tried them side by side awhile ago. i think it was 18" sig full crash and 17" or 18" 2002 and the 2002 is a little more warm i guess not sure the characteristic. but the signature is definitely a little higher pitched and brighter. its really up to you because they do kinda and i stress kinda sound similar but if you like them then why not

I've never done a side by side test, but I've always (incorrectly) thought that 2oo2's were brighter than full Sigs. 2oo2's must be thinner then. Either way, I'd rather replace my full sigs with Dark Energies though.

just tried my Paiste signature 20" full crash out with a couple of cymbals, and liked the way it sat with a 19" signature power crash, may go for that,, only problem i found is i noticed a few small dents on the outside of my sig full crash, i had this prob with a couple of 2002's a few years ago..has anyone else had this problem or should i just ignore them....the previous sabians i had hhx's and aax's were fine ???? ( when i say small dents i mean tiny).
