Nice kit and nice cymbals but if you had Gadd sign your hi hats, why in the world would you be playing with them? ????

I play my hats that are signed by Dr. Gadd and I know there are at least a few of us here who do the same. And I play my crash signed by Mick Fleetwood, and I play my china signed by Lorne Wheaton...

Maytridy, nice kit and great cymbals.

Dude, this hi-hat and Ride cymbal...delicious!

but I have one question: What the difference between the Special Dry Ride and the K Custom Dry Light Ride?

Nice kit! Looks gorgeous! Is it just me or would that seat kill your ass? after your expensive cymbals and kit, I expected to see a comfy throne! haha:) killer set anyhow!

Nice kit but I would suggest you to not play your signed hats.

I wouldn't play them either-won't take much sticking to blur and mar that signature. Personally, I would (at least) take the top hat and mount it on the wall. (seriously) They are Custom K's-they are a work of art as it is lol... IMO: that Steve Gadd sig could be worth a hell of a lot of $ down the road.

Thanks for the comments!

I wish I had a choice whether to play my hats or not. The only other hihats I have are ZBT's that I'm selling with my old kit. Does anyone have any ideas on how to try to preserve the signature?

but I have one question: What the difference between the Special Dry Ride and the K Custom Dry Light Ride?

The Dry Light Ride is not lathed and I think it's a bit thinner. Generally the sound of the light ride is a little bit brighter, lighter, and higher pitched. The Special Dry is also available in 21" where I think the Dry Light is only available in 20".

Is it just me or would that seat kill your ass?

Haha, most of the time I'm too focused to notice. However I really should go get a real throne because it does get painful from time to time.

I dont get people to sign cymbals... cymbals break, they come and go, i get people to sign my heads. i have one from jon swartz and one signed by everyone from the venkmans (greatest ska band ever!)

if you are at a show with your own drums and you dont have anything else for them to sign, a reso head works great!

Nice kit man! the hats are great cymbals! and they are signed by a madman!

Keep drumming!
