While quicktime is a very easy to view format, it is however quite hard to convert into other formats so it can be viewed on other media devices(Xbox 360, psp, ipod, etc.). What is wrong with using the wmv format instead? Alot of other sites use the wmv format so it just plays it in the browser with the option to download.

Would anyone else like WMV over quicktime?

Uhh have you seen how many videos this website has? Thats a little too extreme.

You can just convert them yourself.

If want it in WMV then do it yourself, whats wrong with watching them on your computer, and ipods support quicktime fine. Bernhard uses a mac so everything is done the mac way, and i dont have to convert them to play them through my xbox onto the tv.

Ipods do not support the WMV format. They use MP4 files, which quicktime works with very well. I use a mac, too...

bernhard, dont change a thing! :)

How do you convert them to work on Windows XP? Sorry, I come from the days of slide rules.

Mac users like myself could in theory use WMV, but why would we even want to? I know I'm not really missing out on anything by not downloading programmes to play WMV, I'm happy with MPEG and .MOV formats personally. These videos play fine in the browser with no need to download too.

Guys, is there anyone who can take a quick-time video and make it into something different so I can watch it ?!

I'd love to be able to see certain things. My computer at home is terrible and well, my work computer doesn't allow you to download any software! arrrrh!
